Spectrum (rocket) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Spectrum (rocket), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of spaceflight launches in July–December 2023, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page C59. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

An article you recently created, TeLEOS-2, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Pay attention to details

[edit]

Hi, I've seen that you've become more active in the spaceflight pages, and I would like to remind you to pay attention to some important details like updating the sources whenever you make any edit like updating the status of a launch, keeping the payloads in alphabetical order, checking for duplicates, distinguishing when batches of satellites deserve a single entry or multiple entries and so on. It's nice to have an extra helping hand but not if that means double checking every new edit. Thanks. Fm3dici97 (talk) 12:50, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Abdullah1099 less than 24h after this message I see that you keep adding edits without caring for details: on top of them, the update of the Chandrayaan-3 launch date without updating the source, and the addition of a launch of Jilin-1 satellites in June 2023 with empty links ignoring that a page for the Jilin-1 constellation already exists. Again, since this kind of edits require a constant double check to correct mistakes and add extra references your work might be flagged as disruptive with all the consequences of the case. Please, modify your behavior. Fm3dici97 (talk) 09:54, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the trouble you got from my edits on the Wikipedia page.
But I am new and I didn't know how all the mechanisms for editing on Wikipedia works and l upload the edits on the basis of news from the Internet, newspapers, twitter, etc. Abdullah1099 (talk) 10:05, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You also add lot of speculated dates, do not do that. Read Wikipedia guidelines. Each piece of information added should have citation from reputable sources like official sources, news outlets etc and Twitter is not a reliable source.  Ohsin  22:12, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Missing edit summaries

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Lack of sources and conventions ignored

[edit]

Hi, I hate to repeat myself but here we go again. Whenever you make any change to the spaceflight timeline, you have to:

  • Add an update source that confirms the change you're making, any information has to be supported by external sources and not solely by the fact that you read it somewhere;
  • In every monthly section order the launches first by date, then alphabetically by launch vehicle, and finally alphabetically by the name of the payload.

Not respecting these rules means forcing other editors to constantly double check any change. I've already tried to advise you about these details above, please behave accordingly. Fm3dici97 (talk) 09:49, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of sources (again)

[edit]

Hi, I'm reaching out to you because once again I noticed that you keep making edits in the spaceflight schedule without updating the sources. I would like to remind you that ANY kind of modification of that schedule has to be supported by updated sources, it's not sufficient to move things around according to your own personal knowledge. If you don't do it, other users are forced to track down your edits and intervene to correct your mistakes. This is the third time that I remind you this, so from now on I will treat any continuation of this behavior as an intentional disregard for Wikipedia rules and act accordingly. [edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced edits

[edit]

It has been one year, and you keep vandalizing the spaceflight launch pages with unsourced modifications all the time. Every time you make a change, the source you include should support the change you made. It is not enough to make changes just because someone told you, it's not enought to make changes just because you read it somewhere, it is not enought to make changes just by copypasting sources from a similar launch. On top of that, you keep ignoring the very basic convention of ordering launches alphabetically, by launch vehicle first and by payload for the same launch vehicle, despite multiple attempts to remind you of that. Please, pay attention to this or I will once again be forced to open a procedure against you in the administrators' board to restrict your edit permissions. Sources for your edits

[edit]

Hi, I've seen that in many cases for upcoming Chinese launches you've attached as source the Chinese Wikipedia. I'm sorry but that's not a valid source, either you link the original source for that specific launch, or you leave the launch out. (And to be fair, I know the guy who is taking care of the Chinese Wikipedia, half of the time his edits are based on his personal speculations, so he and the page are not to be conisdered reliable sources). Please update the sources or remove the launches that cannot be linked to a reliable source. Thanks, Fm3dici97 (talk) 10:06, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't remove them because it is part of Wikipedia but in Chinese and both are similar and it gave us a speculation and Tentitive launch time and if the launch does not occur at the given time in the month and no updates come from the specific launch then i will remove them. THANK YOU. Abdullah1099 (talk) 16:39, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Abdullah1099 all the things published in Wikipedia must come from a reliable source, without exceptions. Cross-referencing a Wikipedia in another language whose contents come from guesses and speculations is the opposite of using a reliable source. So either you find an alternative source to the Chinese Wikipedia, or you remove the launch. Fm3dici97 (talk) 07:52, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article List of star systems within 500-550 light-years has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While the nearest star systems to Earth are regularly discussed as a group, there doesn't seem to be such list notability for these farther away. If this site can be believed, "There are 271,732 stars within 1,000 light-years of Earth which are visible in a backyard telescope." Are we really going to list them all by distance to Earth?

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I am not listing all stars in 1000 light years, i am only adding some variable stars and stars with planets, Supernova Candidate, etc. I am adding stars and expanding this to help the future generations. So, No need need of delete the article. Thank you. Abdullah1099 (talk) 14:04, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If the problem is that in 1000 ly is 2000+ Stars or every star can be seen by Amateur Astronomer or What. Abdullah1099 (talk) 09:36, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Then first think of people who Catalogued every star is more hard than adding stars in the table like format is much much easy than Cataloguing every Stars. These list of stars are a tiny bit or less than 10% of what the peoples who Catalogued each stars and every thing has done. Abdullah1099 (talk) 09:39, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why you guys are becoming inhuman like. It's our duty to expand these list of stars within one ly to another ly to as much as 5,000+ ly as the more sources has come to us and more stars had already been Catalogued. Abdullah1099 (talk) 09:43, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think 3-4 days has gone but no reply has been given by other side and thus no identification of the problems. Thus, these kind of behaviour made this a kind of nonsense that no one can increase anything even many new information has come. Abdullah1099 (talk) 16:30, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Fantasy times

[edit]

Please stop adding fantasy times such as "5:79" into the List of spaceflight launches in July-December 2024. You've done it multiple times so if it's just a mistake I'm unsure how you would make the same mistake with several fantasy times that often. Hello, Abdullah! I see you're diligently working on the various timeline articles. I have been working my way through them methodically from the beginning (I got Spaceflight before 1951, 1951 in spaceflight, and 1952 in spaceflight up to featured list, and I did 1953 in spaceflight, 1954 in spaceflight, 1955 in spaceflight, as well as the lead for 1956 in spaceflight. User:Sotakarhu did the table work for the 1956 article and 1957 in spaceflight.

I don't know if he's interested in continuing this work, and it seems like you enjoy it. I would ask that you take a look at those featured articles and do your best to emulate that style so we have consistency across the pages. In particular, be sure to use the color scheme Sotakarhu came up with User_talk:Sotakarhu#Spaceflight_Colors and I also prefer inline citations rather than a reference list at the bottom.

What do you think? :) --Neopeius (talk) 18:46, 18 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Abdullah1099

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Klbrain, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, List of FTV and OPS satellites, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Thanks for building this list, a continuation of List of USA satellites (1-500), with an arbitrary but reasonable split at 500. More than one source for list would be helpful. The reason is that 500 satellites are good amount of satellites and as many information is very old so making list extremely long will make editing full page very hard. So, I had spilit it into two parts. Abdullah1099 (talk) 16:48, 20 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Pratham Swatantrata Sangram Express, is not suitable as written to remain published. Dan arndt (talk) 08:05, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the information to Pratham Swatrantata Sangram Express article as it really belongs to that article. Abdullah1099 (talk) 08:38, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: List of New Glenn boosters (August 23)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by MediaKyle was:
It's not clear why this should be a standalone article from List of New Glenn launches. You may wish to merge your content there.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
MediaKyle (talk) 14:03, 23 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I made the list to be inline with what Falcon 9 and even Electron and in future every reusable rocket needs. Yes, Blue Origin development is not as fast as SpaceX do. That's why very less number of booster. If i want i can easily add 5 booster Booster 1 to 5, one used on NG-1, 2 on NG-2,...,5 - NG-5 and all in manufacturing but i think doing that would be too fast for Wikipedia. @Tankishguy bro not removed only move that CSG section from below to near the first Generation of Satellites to make easy to understand it. That's a very minor update. Thanks for informing me Abdullah1099 (talk) 03:32, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on List of FTV and OPS satellites requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) 03:49, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@45dogs It not my first bro i only moved it to draft space for complete and modification after all that completed, I will re-upload the article when it's completed it's now in my Sandbox. I put it there to gave some focus to that article. Abdullah1099 (talk) 03:54, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize for the A3 nomination; that was because the redirect wasn't there, twinkle didn't let it be nominated for WP:CSD#R2, which is usually what needs to be done when moving to draft space. Though, at this point I think that page has to be deleted, since I don't think the article could be moved back via normal means. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) 03:57, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Are you not able to just use Template:In use while the major edit goes on in main space though? 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) 03:58, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't know that exist in Wikipedia. I would be happy to do that. Can you help me bro Abdullah1099 (talk) 04:02, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
At this point List of FTV and OPS satellites needs to be deleted in order to make way for a move back to article space from the draft. Theoretically, a page mover could do so, but I don't have those rights, so it would likely be easier to simply wait for an admin to delete the page, then move it. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) 04:06, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I mean after that does i can re-upload it after completing everything. Abdullah1099 (talk) 04:08, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Since it was just deleted, I am going to move it back to article space if that is fine. Its less disruptive for the readers of the project if that page is in main space. You should place the template at the top (WP:TWINKLE makes this easy), and then edit. Hopefully, no edit conflicts should occur, since no one else should edit the page while the template is up, though it doesn't stop them from doing so. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) 04:12, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for doing all that, I would be happy if all those features would be helpful to me Abdullah1099 (talk) 04:38, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hey @AluminiumWithAnI, I had started work on completing your started drafts Draft:VFTS 16 as it fell interesting to me and also working on your idea Draft:V861 Scorpii. Do you have any problem bro. Abdullah1099 (talk) 03:03, 10 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

And completed works on VFTS 16 and will start completing works on M10-VLA1. Abdullah1099 (talk) 04:14, 10 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for notifying me, you have permission to edit the draft. It's one of those projects I haven't had the time to finish, so collaborations are welcome. AluminiumWithAnI (talk) 04:56, 10 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. I see that you've turned it into an article, thanks for your help AluminiumWithAnI (talk) 04:57, 10 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome, I seen it as a interesting object. I found two more that are interesting one is the MACHO one and other is M10-VLA1. So, I will try to complete Abdullah1099 (talk) 05:45, 10 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@AluminiumWithAnI bro Completed M10-VLA1, but sorry as it has very less references. So, Can you add some more Abdullah1099 (talk) 09:31, 10 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I could find this brief mention, but am struggling to find anything else. I'm a bit worried that the topic may have been premature to have its own article, but it might barely get past notability requirements. AluminiumWithAnI (talk) 11:09, 10 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I also think same but it's atleast have some meaning and i already put that article into Star-stub. So, I think no problem will come Abdullah1099 (talk) 13:00, 10 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
