Welcome and a comment about minor edits
[edit]Hi JaxsonR! Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. Our intro page provides helpful information for new users—please check it out! If you have any questions, you can get help from experienced editors at the Teahouse.
Also would like to give you a quick heads-up about minor edits, since I noticed that you recently made an edit at Islamic State – Turkey Province and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Removing or adding content to a page, especially if it changes the meaning, is not classified as a minor edit. Just wanted to let you know (I was also confused about this as a new user). Thank you! Speedy deletion nomination of Malam-Fatori
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Malam-Fatori requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Islamic State insurgency in the North Caucasus, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages F1 grenade and Detained. [edit] Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Islamic State – Philippines Province, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it has been moved to where you can continue to work on it. Please consider using the Article Wizard or the Articles for Creation procedure. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read "Your first article". You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Isaidnoway (talk) 14:17, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
- When I went to fix the 14 reference errors I notified you above about, all but two of the citations returned a 404 error - page not found. One of the Reuters articles you cited was about "Indonesia has reached tax deal with Google for 2016", and another citation just went to their homepage. For a newly created article, it is unacceptable to have that many citations return 404 errors. Anyway, it's been moved to draftspace where you can continue to work on it and fix those citation errors. Please don't move it back to mainspace until the citations have been fixed. Thanks. Your submission at Articles for creation: Timbuktu Triangle (March 20)
[edit]
You probably have an article, here, but the sources are not properly-supportive. For instance, your current sources do not actually define the "Timbuktu Triangle." They mention the Triangle, but they don't explain it.
Where is your source for:
The term "Timbuktu Triangle" was adopted by the Niger-Nigeria militaries to refer to the axis that runs from Maiduguri northwest to Dankalwa in Benisheikh, the headquarters of Kaga Local Government Area; and from there it goes south and ends at Dambao. From Dambao the line then runs north to connect with Maiduguri, forming a triangle. The Triangle is located in a dry, wasteland like area, with a majority Muslim population, and a minority Christian population, Causing religious tensions. Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists use the land covered with thick, tall grass and bushes as hideouts, camps and bases of operations.
Also, beginning of the article, get rid of the inline "not to be confused with" statement and instead use: Template:Distinguish at the top of the article.
- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Timbuktu Triangle and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.

Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. This was your copyright violation in which you copy/pasted a complete sentence from Times of Israel. Apart from the copyvio aspect, the sentence was not a fair summary of the content: when ministry officials make a "reassurance" in a private meeting based on a debunked legal claim, it's just as likely that this is politicking (promise everything to everyone) rather than a legally binding commitment of the government. It was also absurdly written out of context: anyone reaching this point of the Wikipedia article no longer has to be told that Netanyahu is (or was as of early 2025) prime minister of Israel. Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

[edit] Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. The article 2025 Wave Cave incident has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Sad accident, but why do we have an article for it? Accidents happen all the time and routinely get reported upon directly after they happen, but are unlikely to have WP:SUSTAINED coverage or long-term impact.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}

The february 2025 Bijapur clash was a conventional military clash between forces who have been engaged in a longstanding conflict (1967 to present), and as far as I know based on the article and sources, no civilian casualties occured, and the side which could be argued to be terrorists sustained huge casualties relative to their size. Israel - iran war
[edit]Hello, I saw that you are editing the article and I suggest removing the Npov, non-neutral edit: "Legal scholars saw the Israeli strikes as a violation of international law".
The reason for this is in the source itself, which claims a legal dispute. Therefore, presenting a specific legal side contradicts the principle of neutrality. I will note that a search of the Internet reveals two or three specific individuals with this opinion. I will note that the source talks about a publication on CNN as a fact. I will add that Israeli intelligence thought differently from the American one and accordingly there is a legal difference. I will note that from my memory such an assessment was not mentioned until after the bombing, the lengths were shorter. For example, this report in Hebrew, citing the New Times: https://mobile.mako.co.il/news-world/2025_q1/Article-0f2f019ebfdc491026.htm I will also mention this article that defines an attack on a nuclear reactor as an example of a justified preemptive attack: Shue, Henry and Rhodin, David (2007). Article creations
[edit]Hello, JaxsonR,
The next time you create new articles, how about starting them in Draft or User space instead of main space? Right now, you are creating them in main space and then moving them to Draft space which means we have extra cross-namespace redirects that admins have to catch (because you didn't tag them for speedy deletion) and then delete. So, it's creating work for others.
But if you started your articles in Draft or User space and then moved them to main space when they were ready, we wouldn't have these extra pages that need to be deleted. Please consider doing this in the future. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 17:33, 13 August 2025 (UTC)

The page Territory of the Islamic State – West Africa Province has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it was a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved content from Territory of Boko Haram into Territory of the Islamic State – West Africa Province. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content (here or elsewhere), Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g.,
copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 12:22, 17 September 2025 (UTC)

{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 01:54, 29 September 2025 (UTC)I deleted Islamic State and weapons of mass destruction as most of it was copied from the cited sources (Mostly 1 and 2), and as far as I can tell both of these sources are under copyright, meaning text from them cannot be reused on Wikipedia. Unfortunately, given your past warnings for copying text from sources, and your final warning for doing so last month, I have little choice other than indefinitely blocking you. If you want to be unblocked, you need to commit to not from copying from sources in your future editing and demonstrate a better understanding of copyright. User:Moneytrees/Copyright blocks contains some advice on appealing this block. Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 02:00, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
- Question: I noticed that I could rewrite the article to get unblocked, where would I be able to rewrite this article? JaxsonR (talk) 19:28, 30 September 2025 (UTC)

JaxsonR (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
What is copyright? Copyright gives creators control over how their original creation is used by others.
How is Wikipiedia licensed? Wikipedia is licensed so anyone can use, change, and share its content if they give credit and let others do so.
Why is copyrighted content not allowed on Wikipedia? Copyrighted content is not allowed on Wikipedia because it is protected as original content.
Under what circumstances can we use copyrighted content? We can use copyrighted content on Wikipedia only if we have permission from the creator.
How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future? I will refrain from copy and pasting or close-paraphrasing in the future.

Decline reason:
This misses all of WP:FAIRUSE. You also didn't give the specific licenses Wikipedia content is licensed under. Yamla (talk) 11:36, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Don't give up.
[edit]Hey, Jax. I know it's tough for you, but you shouldn't have directly copy-and-pasted from other content.
You're not alone. We have the same problem with Moviepedia, and we're working on it to get the entire wiki rewritten to be completely original from others.
Try to write something original next time. In other words, don't give up! Buddy731 (talk) 19:42, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
