draft Delete request sir please help
[edit]Sir, can you help us in deleting the draft? Anyone who comes and tampers with the draft created by me goes away, that is why my name gets implicated, Sir Draft:Ramkripalyadavg (YouTuber) 2409:408A:2E1D:C3F8:0:0:D44B:DD07 (talk) 20:04, 21 October 2025 (UTC)
- Drafts get deleted if not edited for 6 months. If the attempts to delete without a valid reason had not happened it would have been deleted already. As you can't prove you are the original anonymous author just leave it and in 6 months it will be deleted. KylieTastic (talk) 20:11, 21 October 2025 (UTC)
Please be mindful of WP:Parallel histories when history merging
[edit]I've just cleaned up a bunch of pages where you history merged two separate overlapping sets of edits into one page via multiple uses of the Special:MergeHistory tool. Please don't do that, it makes the history harder rather than easier to follow (by injecting redirect edits into the middle of the history of an article for example). See WP:Parallel histories for more details. * Pppery * it has begun... 19:27, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
- Pppery sorry that I got that wrong, I'll re-read the instructions again before doing any more. KylieTastic (talk) 19:36, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
- Here's a tip. For a simple cut-paste move (as opposed to cleaning up other more godawful messes which I've done) then you should only need to ever use the MergeHistory tool once. If it won't let you do the merge you want because it says "Specified time period overlaps preexisting revisions of the destination page" (or the entry is colored red in the MergeHistory reports), then you need to do something about that first before proceeding with the merge. Either delete and selectively undelete the page to get rid of the overlapping edits, or use MergeHistory to move them to some other title (like another plausible redirect to the same target). The overlapping timestamps feature exists for a reason (to get in the way of exactly what you did), and doing multiple merges in a row like that bypasses it. * Pppery * it has begun... 19:41, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
- I did start with the first cases where it was a direct cut-paste move, then I did do the delete and selectively undelete method on one but thought it was wrong as I was hiding (minor) history. When I realised the MergeHistory allowed ranges with start and end of a range to stop the overlapping timestamps warning I clearly misunderstood it's purpose. I've been reviewing your logs of changes and already see how some make it clearer to read, and I will continue with caution. Cheers and sorry for the mistakes. - I personally wrote the patch that allowed ranges. The reason I did it was to allow cleaning up after exactly the mistake you made of parallel histories being tangled together (well that, and to cleanup Salebot1-style revision-flooding vandalism without having to delete/undelete pages that may have more than 5000 revisions) * Pppery * it has begun... 20:02, 26 October 2025 (UTC)

Agender Article
[edit]Alright so ive got AFC reviewer permissions now and I want draft:agender accepted and moved to agender. But what do I do now. This is your edit summary here. But like what do I do now. Ive gone from place to place to get this article into main space. You have a red link in your summary so that doesn’t help. "A G6 would be used when the draft is accepted" I cant accept the draft until the redirect is deleted or has a history merge. What do I do. Pencilceaser123 (talk) 01:07, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Pencilceaser123, sorry that was 1am for me, I have added to the discussion you started after this over at User_talk:Theleekycauldron#Agender_page. Regards KylieTastic (talk) 09:34, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
History merge targets
[edit]Hey, cool that you're working on the history merge lists. However, please make sure that the target page is correct; I only noticed this because you did the history merge while I had Wikipedia:WikiProject History Merge/11 open, but you used Nostrand Avenue (IND Fulton Street Line), which is now a redirect, as the target, when it should have been Nostrand Avenue station (IND Fulton Street Line). I've just fixed it. To avoid this, before I do the history merge, I open up the target page listed in the table, and if it's a redirect, I do the history merge manually instead of using the bot-generated links. - Hi Graham87, damn sorry, I should have noticed that. Noted for the mental checklist: don't trust the report on the page, check for subsequent moves/history etc before proceeding. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 12:22, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
