Hello Proscribe, thank you for the nice cleanups you have done — cleaning my mess, thank you. But I have a question concerning date formats. Is there a rule that says it MUST be dmy? according to WP:MILFORMAT, "Articles on topics with strong ties to a particular English-speaking country should generally use the date format most commonly used in that nation. Hi there, Proscribe. I noticed that you made an edit to the Douglas Leone article, namely updating his title to general partner. I'm not sure if you saw that I'd posted a request for exactly this update, plus a few other changes, on the article Talk page? As such, I'm hoping you can take a look at my other suggestions there, as I'm also proposing revisions to the article Infobox (updating his wife's name), Career section (lightly restructuring and updating existing claims), and Personal life section (adding one additional claim).

I have a conflict of interest, as I work for Sequoia Capital, so I will not be making any of these edits myself and am instead counting on experienced editors like yourself to review what I've put together. Did you have a chance to review my proposed Career section revisions? In my Talk page post, you'll see that I put together a draft that updates information about investments, improves sourcing for key claims, and lightly restructures content (with care taken to avoid any edits to passages concerning controversies). I think these revisions will really strengthen that section and make the article as a whole more accurate and readable.

Hi, Randykitty, though I am no expert on journals, it did seem to me that Anthurium is notable enough to warrant an article, having in two decades of existence confirmed credibility. From objective observation (I have no personal connection with the journal), it clearly has standing within the field of Caribbean studies, and the article links to at least a couple of dozen others.   • Hi, thanks for pinging me. I've been working on the article, but unfortunately, I don't see the sourcing needed to meet WP:GNG. (small axe being behind a paywall, I have no access to that article, but it would be one source only). Not being indexed anywhere, it doesn't meet WP:NJournals either. Unfortunately, journals like this that cater to a small field often don't get much attention from other journals and while they may have a good standing in their field, they don't have the sources needed to meet our inclusion guidelines. Here's my opinion on the current sources: #1 is just a list entry; #2 is most likely a press release from the journal itself; #3 is not independent; #4 is a brief mention; #( is apparently not online, but as it is about libraries, I doubt it would cover the journal in-depth; and finally #6 is not independent either.
I realize that youo put a lot of work into this, but unfortunately I don't see it meeting the necessary notability requirements. You're of course free to remove the PROD, but then we'll have to slog it out at AfD... --Randykitty (talk) 13:43, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Since that was the title for the search, I assumed that

I've noticed that you've helped me improve my articles on the biographies of anti-colonial activists who are Black British & Caribbean, such as Trevor Carter and Cleston Taylor. Seeing as you share my interest in black history, I was wondering if you would take a closer look at my greatest article, Billy Strachan, which is currently open for peer review (see the top of the talk page) and has been nominated for WP:GA status.

Hi,

I noticed that in a recent edit at "Paterson_Joseph" you placed a couple of non-breaking spaces ( ) inside piped links (e.g.[[Dead Ringers (series)|Dead Ringers]]). Does that actually do anything? I'd understood that a non-breaking space only affects the way text is displayed, and the part of a piped link to the left of the pipe isn't displayed. Have I misunderstood? Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Thanks for adding the infobox, but for some reason I have it in my head that Abdulah was born in Jamaica. Given his parents marriage date (69 years before 2022 would be ~1953) and the date his father as ordained (1954) it does seem reasonable that he was born in Jamaica.
