Hey! Thanks for being my mentor - quick question: In this page I'm editing, some parts of the introduction are very promotional and praiseful of the festival, and it doesn't meaningfully add to the article - is it fine just to remove the fluff, or do I start a talk discussion about it?

How do I take care of it if I can't report it for any reason? I also wanted to know how I can fix more articles with minor errors instead of bigger ones? Im wanting to know because one of my friends keeps vandalising pages and I don't know what to do about it. I tell him not to, he always tells me to do it but I want to do good things for Wikipedia, I don't want to vandalise. I want to report him for it but I don't know how. Articles about yourself or things you are closely connected to are often discouraged, because it’s very hard to write them in a neutral way.
