Thanks but...
[edit]Your edit to my User page is appreciated but in the future, if you want to send another Wikipedia editor some "WikiLove" the correct place to post your good wishes is on someone's User talk page, not on their User page. User pages are reserved for the personal use of individual editors themselves. See, I'm posting this on your user talk. I suggest you get to the Wikipedia Adventure page and do that activity and also post questions & check out the Teahouse. I am unable to help your further at this time, I have serious real-life responsibilities outside Wikipedia. If you're looking for a Mentor, an experienced editor to help you out, go to the Wikipedia "Adoptees" page and follow those instructions. Good luck, Shearonink (talk) 15:20, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
- PS - Remember to sign your posts with the four tildes. They're the funny squiggly things in the upper-left hand corner of your keyboard, that look like this --> ~. Good luck, Shearonink (talk) 15:32, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
Thanks, but... (x2)
[edit]I do appreciate the turkey you left on my talk page, but it would be better if you directed your efforts towards improving the encyclopedia. Maybe you want to try installing WP:RATER and rating articles, or using the shortdesc helper script to add short descriptions. Wikipedia is not a social network, so you shouldn't be using it primarily for social interaction. If you have any questions, hit the Reply button after this comment. I do appreciate the ferret you left for me but ... see above. I wonder how you determine whom to send these animals. Doug Weller, for example. Did you look around on that user talk? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:53, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
- No, it's just completely random. And about what @Toadspike said, I do not use it "primarily for social interaction." I have over 100 edits, but I just like ferrets. They're very interesting creatures. I can also send you a salamander, if you'd like. ;) BumblB645 (talk) 00:00, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
- Did you look at Doug's page? - I like ferrets. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:09, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
- I had not looked at Doug's page, but I just did. However, I hadn't heard about it when I posted the ferret. BumblB645 (talk) 18:25, 7 November 2025 (UTC)

Ferret
[edit]
Jenhawk777 has given you a ferret! Ferrets promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day much better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a ferret, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.
Give someone a ferret by adding {{subst:Ferret}} to their talk page with a friendly message.
It seems only fair to give you one back. Welcome! Jenhawk777 (talk) 04:41, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
Balloon
[edit]
Versions111 has given you balloons! Balloons are meant to uplift the morale of people with an illness, and has hopefully made your day a little better. Spread good health by giving someone else who is a bit ill a balloon.
Spread the good health by adding {{subst:Balloons}} to their talk page with a friendly message.
