- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue on the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Suonii180 (talk) 14:16, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
Hi and welcome. I noticed your reverts of vandalism on The Falling Man and thought I'd mentioned the Twinkle gadget to you. When you enable Twinkle, you can revert multiple consecutive edits by the same editor in a single click, instead of having to undo each one manually. You can also configure it to automatically open the talk page of the reverted editor and gives you a dropdown menu to select warnings. It has a lot of other features that you might find useful as well. Hope that helps! Schazjmd (talk) 22:18, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
John MEREDITH (Sep 2025)
[edit]You made several changes in your contributions to the article John Meredith (folklorist).
primarily inspired [[the Australian]] folk music revival
will try and link to The Australian newspaper. The music revival is not related to the newspaper.
recipient of an [[Australian literature|Australian Literature]] Fund Grant
will go to Australian literature generally and does not mention the fund grant. Further the link is a duplicated phrase, as the page will be found with or without capitals.
Keep going with your editing, but remember to check context before accepting recommendations for linking.–Q8682 (talk) 04:13, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
Southwest high school change
[edit]Hello to whoever the following user is. I noticed the change for the Southwest high school (San Diego) wiki change. I would like to clarify that ALL mentioned things that you stated as "not reliable sources" has been proven and confirmed. I am a student from SOH and I wanted to add some things to the wiki to make it simpler. Hopefully this cuts some confusion. If your wondering about certain evidence like the community school thing, watch some of the KSOH videos that are linked in https://soh.sweetwaterschools.org/ for more information. the stadium modernization project is also displayed at the front of the furthest parking lot near tocayo Ave as more proof. Thank you and sorry for the confusion. Solarin18 (talk) 18:10, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hi there! I appreciate the comment however being a student at a school is not a credible source! I am very happy for you to cite the sources in your edits, but otherwise it sounds opinionated. Additionally, the part about electives reads more as an advertisement than fact. As for the case of the newspaper, I can see it has not been updated and that is fine, however since it was changed within other invalid edits it was removed. Happy editing! LuniZunie (talk) 18:13, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- I will try and see if the administration at my school can shine new light to this. If they provide any new information, I will ask you if you can try and find any resources (However might not be available if new) Solarin18 (talk) 22:36, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- specifically the wiki Solarin18 (talk) 22:36, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, as long as you have a valid source of information. Please refrain from writing sections that sound like a promotion however. LuniZunie (talk) 22:37, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- I have also redone the change of the newspaper. You may redo it if you wish. Solarin18 (talk) 22:38, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- Your edit will be kept. LuniZunie (talk) 22:41, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- I am planning to replace the newspaper with the KSOH announcements (linking the channel behind the daily school announcements as well) Solarin18 (talk) 06:09, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- I am also hoping to talk to the teacher behind the KSOH class to see if he can promote the Wikipedia to hopefully have someone who’s experienced at this work to reform the entire wiki, with the addition of proper sources. If this does happen, and some mistakes are made, maybe you can help out with finding some of the missing resources??? I’m not sure yet, and I would have to ask the teacher on Monday. Solarin18 (talk) 06:16, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- I’m hopeful you and whoever wants to take the job can work well together in making the SOH wiki better (a chance I may bring back the alumni, with a picture to prove the existence of it. Very unlikely since I’m not really skilled in editing lol) Solarin18 (talk) 06:18, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, I will keep this page in mind and will see what I can do about it in the near future. LuniZunie (talk) 12:33, 14 September 2025 (UTC)

Warning users
[edit]If an editor continues to vandalize past their 4th warning, report them to WP:AIV. Repeatedly giving them a "final" warning won't change anything, it may only embolden them. Thanks for your help. Lynch44 23:54, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- I've stopped giving final warnings, should I keep at least undoing edits though? LuniZunie (talk) 23:55, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

You just reverted my edits on the Rick Rubin page
[edit]The Jacobin describes itself (on it's own website & on it's adequately sourced Wikipedia page) as "Socialist".
The 'Data and Society' NGO was founded by the Microsoft Corporation & it's biggest funders are the Open Society Foundation & various charitable foundations associated with the Soros, Gates, Ford, Carnegie families & numerous other left/liberal aligned entities https://datasociety.net/funder-list/.
This is material to the section edited since all the "criticism" comes from ideological opponents (& I would include myself in this group) of the person being criticized in the article.
Please share your specific objections to to my edit, so I may reformat & improve future edits?

- Hello! Thank you for your questions. First of all, I just want to state that I may have been mistaken. I monitor the recent changes page, and your update was flagged so I looked at it. Your edit, at the time, seemed both poorly structured and, at least to me, seemed like a jab. However, I will admit these edits are looked at very fast as many updates happen per second. I've gone back and looked at it and the sentence structure still appears poor. On top of this, with you saying, "& I would include myself in this group", I now worry that this is a COI issue. If I misunderstood, my apologies. LuniZunie (talk) 20:59, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
Eric Ueland Reversion
[edit]- I'm not quite sure how updating Eric Ueland with well sourced biographical material including a recent assumption as acting Director of the Office of Government Ethics is not constructive or vandalism. You also made a second edit removing only the accurate and removing his middle name which can be found in my cited sources. I would appreciate it if we could note what exactly is vandalism and in the absence of notes revert to the original edits. Thanks.

- Will get back to you soon. Have a lot of vandalism currently handling. LuniZunie (talk) 22:18, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Apologies. Just looked at my edit, meant to warn you for unsourced additions. Sorry for the confusion, happy editing! LuniZunie (talk) 22:20, 13 September 2025 (UTC)

- They've done this to a sourced edit on Charles Eliot Norton's page too.
- Seems they don't understand what vandalism is. 2600:1016:B103:C6DB:29D3:4696:B773:2F78 (talk) 22:38, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- You have failed to provide a source all three times I have asked. Additionally, another user made similar edits and was quickly blocked. LuniZunie (talk) 22:39, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
Stop removing a sourced edit and saying its vandalism
[edit]It very obviously isn't. Your actions here show you don't understand what vandalism is. 2600:1016:B103:C6DB:29D3:4696:B773:2F78 (talk) 22:36, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Provide the sources then when editing. LuniZunie (talk) 22:37, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- I did, but you kept removing it. Seems like you are just bothered with the edit for personal reasons. 2600:1016:B103:C6DB:29D3:4696:B773:2F78 (talk) 22:39, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
