[edit]Hello, so i added a line about the high school he went to, but the only citation of this is from his high schools year book page, i don't know how to cite that since i am new to Wikipedia. Also i dont think there is anywhere else on the internet which reports this expect the year book Pop sk818 (talk) 22:34, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
- @Pop sk818: Information should be backed up by reliable sourcing per WP:RELIABLE particularly if it's personal information relating to a living person as per WP:BLP. Sources also need to be added to the article rather than mentioned in the edit summary, for help with sourcing please see Help:REFB. I've not personally used yearbooks as references before, I've had a look at the reliable sources noticeboard and there has been previous discussions (Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 248#Can a high school yearbook be used as a reliable source to verify a notable person's attendance there?, Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 196#Is a yearbook a reliable source to confirm attendance at a school and Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 99#Can a High School Yearbook be used as a "Reference"?) regarding whether it's a reliable source or not. It may be worth trying to find a WP:SECONDARY source or asking at the noticeboard or the WP:TEAHOUSE about whether it can be used in this particular case.
