Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Madleen boat
[edit]
Thank you for your interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption, a special set of rules apply to anyone editing in this topic area. Specifically, only extended confirmed editors are allowed to make direct edits and page creations to this topic area. Since you currently do not meet the requirements to contribute to this topic area, the page you created has been nominated for speedy deletion under G5.
If you think this page does not fall under the general sanctions described, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Additionally you may wish to read about the topic restrictions here. --Leonidlednev (T, C, L) 20:50, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days, and you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template. jlwoodwa (talk) 20:53, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
You have recently made edits related to post-1978 Iranian politics. This is a standard message to inform you that post-1978 Iranian politics is a designated contentious topic. This message does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. For more information about the contentious topics system, please see Wikipedia:Contentious topics. The article Death of Shilan Shahbazian has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Sounds like a sad story, but at the same time appears to be a non-notable recent death that, while shrouded in some mystery, hasn't led to widespread coverage or any long-lasting impact. See WP:RECENT, WP:ROUTINE, WP:SINGLEEVENT.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ZimZalaBim talk 14:42, 11 June 2025 (UTC)

- I appreciate your efforts to maintain Wikipedia. I wrote an article about a journalist as the title of the article suggests. I didn't know that this was in line with WP:PIA's rules. My intention is not to sabotage. I am on Wikipedia to be useful. I will wait until I reach Status WP:XC, out of respect for the rules governing Wikipedia because my expertise is politics, freedom of expression, and human rights. Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement sanction
[edit]The following sanction now applies to you:
indefinitely topic banned from WP:PIA topics
You have been sanctioned for continuing to make edits violating the restriction (e.g. Special:Diff/1295766664, creating Draft:Sahar Emami, etc.), and further engaging in rapid-fire WP:GAMEing edits in contravention of the CTOPs notice and general best editing practice (e.g., but hardly limited to, as this stretch of edits within 3 minutes: Special:Diff/1295786463, Special:Diff/1295786710, Special:Diff/1295786778). Per this restriction, you any further edits to WP:PIA topics, broadly construed, will result in blocks even after you reach WP:XC status; once you reach WP:XC status, you may appeal this sanction using the process described below.
This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at WP:ARBPIA#Final decision and, if applicable, the contentious topics procedure. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.
You may appeal this sanction using the appeal process. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything above is unclear to you. signed, Rosguill talk 16:40, 17 June 2025 (UTC)

- @Human Right Wiki please reread WP:A1 - this was an inappropriate CSD tag. The policy clearly states
Do not tag under this criterion in the first few minutes after a new article is created
- you tagged it precisely four minutes after creation. Not only that, but it did have sufficient context - the one-sentence stub clearly described a species.
