Declining of article about "Mauricio Jorge Yattah"
[edit]You have provided an invalid reason for declining the article Mauricio Jorge Yattah
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people)
as : Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Politicians_and_judges
Yet this is demonstrably false. The article shows several *full features* published *in the most important national press* which are *specifically about the subject in question*, for example: Perfil, Clarín (most important national newspaper), es:La Política Online (the links themselves are in the draft). There is also a feature in La Nación, the "newspaper of record". These are full articles, published multiple times in national newspapers, which are fully and alone about the article's subject, and are completely independent. This completely fulfills the notability guidelines, from Notability (people):
A politician who has received "significant press coverage" has been written about, in depth, independently in multiple news feature articles, by journalists
The requisite has been more than fulfilled, there is over half a dozen in depth articles exclusively and fully about the subject. HalfManLife (talk) 06:42, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- WP:NPOL affirms that politicians are notable if:
1. They have held international, national, or (for countries with federal or similar systems of government) state/province–wide office, or have been members of legislative bodies at those levels.
2. Major local political figures who have received significant press coverage.I want to affirm that Yattah fail both criteria. He haven't held any major political office (being a presidential aspirant doesn't make one a president except if he/she eventually get elected). Then when we say "significant coverage", we mean appearing in public news sources for his political activities, which in this case, Yattah didn't appear in sources about his political life. Even his presidential campaign received few coverage as per in the draft. Looking wholly at the draft, it fails WP:GNG. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 07:20, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
Draft:Ljubljana Graphic School
[edit]Hello! You have declined Draft:Ljubljana Graphic School as 'improperly sourced', yet the draft includes seven independent sources that contain in-depth material on this movement. Could you please check this and let me know why you believe the sources are inadequate? --TadejM my talk 08:29, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hello!
I have tagged the draft with the following:
1. CelebratingPost doesn't seem like a reliable source per WP:RS.
2. Source 5 is a failed verification; it fails to verify the content
3. Source 6 is an unreliable source tooI must say that this draft fails WP:ORG. It says only about the foundation date and students, which doesn't make an organisation notable. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 11:47, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
I'm not sure why Source 1 would be unreliable. It has been written by "an art historian, curator and lecturer" and published in a professional magazine. Source 5 contains: "Ljubljanska grafična šola je ustvarila skupaj vsaj 10.000 grafik in je kot taka med največjimi kulturnimi umetniškimi grafičnimi dediščinami na svetu," which clearly supports the statement. I'm also not sure why Source 6 would be unreliable since it is provided by a reputable institution. --TadejM my talk 11:55, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hold on, is Ljubljana School of Graphic Art the same as Ljubljana Graphic School? I just confirmed source 1. My bad, I am sorry about that. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 12:01, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
Yes, it is the same entity. Thanks for having moved the article to the main namespace! --TadejM my talk 12:08, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- I am sorry about the miscommunication. It was my bad and I really saw some sources but with Ljubljana School of Graphic Arts. I have moved the draft to mainspace anyway since I am convinced of the sources now. You may equally see my edit summaries before moving. Thanks and safe editing! Safari ScribeEdits! Women in Green's 9th Edit-a-thon
[edit]
Hello SafariScribe:
WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Editathon event in October 2025!
Running from October 1 to 31, 2025, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) editathon event with the theme What Women Do! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We'll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you're an old hand at GAs – we'd love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 31 different occupations or professions (or broader roles in society) by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.
We hope to see you there!

Draft page enquiry!
[edit]Hello @SafariScribe!
Thank you again for your earlier review of Mr Bhattacharjee's draft page (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Sanjib_Bhattacharjee) and for noting that the subject may likely meet WP:ANYBIO. I truly appreciate your time and thoughtful input.
Since your initial assessment a few months ago, I’ve gathered and organised a broader set of sources that I believe now clearly demonstrate notability under WP:GNG. Sanjib Bhattacharjee has now been featured in multiple independent, reliable publications with significant coverage of his work as a road safety campaigner and civic advocate. I’d like to share a few key updates that I hope will help reconsider the article.
The strongest evidence of notability comes from independent, editorially controlled sources that have covered Sanjib Bhattacharjee’s work and recognition without direct involvement from him. These include:
- The Pioneer – A national Indian daily that published a full-page article on his British Empire Medal (BEM) and civic impact
- The Assam Tribune – Coverage of his recognition as an Assamese resident making international contributions
- Tripura Bhabishyat – Bengali-language editorial highlighting his public service
- Gati Dainik – Two separate articles, including an editorial on road safety and education reform
- Headlines Kolkata – Bengali-language coverage with analysis and a video feature
- Road Safety GB – UK national safety body profiling his award and contributions
- Intelligent Instructor – UK-based professional journal with multiple articles on his training work and BEM recognition
- NRI (non resident Indian) TODAY – Diaspora publication with a full profile on his cross-border advocacy
- The London Gazette – Official government record of his BEM award
- Press Association (PA) – Inclusion in the New Year Honours list
- Ilford Recorder, The Waltham Forest Guardian etc. – UK media mentions and image coverage related to his award and civic activities
These sources are independent, reliable, and provide significant coverage - not promotional content or interviews.
While The Statesman published a full-length interview with photograph and commentary on his campaigns, I understand that interviews may not count as independent coverage under WP:GNG. I’ve therefore treated it as supporting material, not central to the notability claim.
Sanjib’s campaigns span both the UK and India, with documented impact in driver education reform, eco-safe and defensive driving, instructor training, and community engagement. Coverage across Assam, Tripura, West Bengal, and Delhi - in both English and Bengali - demonstrates international relevance (not only in the UK, but in India too).
I understand that your earlier decision was based on limited sourcing at the time. With these expanded references and clearer documentation, I hope the article now meets the notability threshold and is ready for approval. I’m very open to any further feedback or suggestions you may have. Thank you again. Flyhigh223! (talk) 12:02, 20 September 2025 (UTC)
