@Kalpesh Manna 2002@Sachin126@Davemck and others, User:Vikashchy8 is continuously trying to promote Jan Suraaj Party. Besides he is trying to impose his edits over others. I think matter is shorted for jan Suraaj Party why you changed Vikashchy8 (talk) 06:56, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Vikashchy8 Besides Jan Suraaj is added. As it is not a major contender, it is not added separately. Besides I can see that User:Sachin126 told you not to add Jan Suraaj at top and to be neutral. XYZ 250706 (talk) 06:57, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is major contender among even BJP bihar Vikashchy8 (talk) 06:59, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Your words are clearly biased. Be neutral according to Wikipedia policies. XYZ 250706 (talk) 07:01, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I think you are king of your kingdom Vikashchy8 (talk) 07:02, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Vikashchy8 Let the other editors discuss. XYZ 250706 (talk) 07:02, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The Jan Suraaj Party is a newly formed political party and is not yet recognized as a state party by the Election Commission of India. However, due to the media coverage the Jan Suraaj Party is receiving, it can be placed at the top of the list in the "Others" section. Portraying the JSP as a main contender by placing it at the top of the "Parties and Alliances" section above the NDA and Mahagathbandhan is unacceptable. Sachin126 (talk) 07:21, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Sachin126, Vikashchy8 still continue to impose his edits. He has already broken 3 Revert Rule. Besides his words do not seem neutral and are definitely not polite and are somewhat personal attacks. Can you please make an appeal for blocking his edits? Actually I forgot how to do that and I am unable to find the page where the appeal should be made. XYZ 250706 (talk) 07:25, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You can report it here: Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. Sachin126 (talk) 07:38, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ordering of parties

[edit]

I noticed Jordan Logs (talk · contribs) recently reordered the list of parties with a fairly inflammatory edit summary. I do not see a discussion or consensus for it so have reverted it.

Jordan, you need to discuss things with other editors or you will be blocked for edit warring. Soni (talk) 08:53, 20 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Can the Special Intensive Revision by the Election Commission be added as a controversy?

[edit]

"The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has triggered a major political controversy in Bihar", according to this article by New Indian Express. I think the time has come to add SIR as a controversy to the Wikipedia article and update as it progresses.

I would like to know if there are any objections before adding this. If we have consensus, I would like to welcome others to add about the SIR (no need to wait for me). ParanormalRat (talk) 19:31, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Pls show the candidates of JAN SURAAJ PARTY Asdasdbfgg (talk) 10:08, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: Only candidates of major parties/alliances as per WP:RS are shown in the Candidates section. See MOS:INDELECT. Dhruv edits (talk) 10:34, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
As Per your own Sources -
Wikipedia:Reliable sources - "Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable, published sources, making sure that all majority and significant minority views that have appeared in those sources are covered"
Wikipedia:WikiProject Indian politics/Election: Article structure - "Only those parties that are covered by Reliable Media as a major contender for winning that election are listed in the candidate list."
Both of these statements hold true for the Jan Suraaj Party.
Jan Suraaj Party in Bihar is a majority or a SIGNIFICANT minority view and Jan Suraaj Party is being covered by Reliable media as a major contender for winning the elections. Asdasdbfgg (talk) 05:29, 19 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Mahagathbandhan candidates contesting in same constituencies

[edit]

There are about 10 constituencies (Vaishali, Tarapur, Bachwara, Gaura-Bauram, Lalganj, Rajapakar, Rosera, Kahalgaon, Sikandara and Biharsharif) where Mahagathbandhan candidates are competing against each other. So, we should add multiple candidates for Mahagathbandhan to Candidates section for these constituencies until someone withdraws their candidature. 1 2 3. Jan Suraaj Party is missing from the list of candidates

[edit]

Jan Suraaj Party has released the names of 115 candidates however in the list of candidates their names are missing. They need to be included because this time JSP is also an important political force. Aditya 181104 (talk) 17:54, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
