However, you should know that it is not a good idea to remove citations or information sourced through citations simply because a link to a source is not working, as you did to Gautam Rode. Dead links should not be deleted. Instead, please repair or replace the link, if possible, and ensure properly sourced information is retained. Often, a live substitute link can be found. Links not used as references, notes or citations are not as important, such as those listed in the "External links" or "Further reading" sections, but bad links in those sections should also be fixed if possible. [edit]Definitely no objection to the general theme of NOSOCIAL. But in several cases, most noticeably [1], you also removed many or all of the category tags. At least the back half of this specific appeal looks like ChatGPT to boot, and if I squint not very hard the first half does also. - I was blocked by @Izno because my behavior was seen as possibly using multiple accounts or having a conflict of interest, both of which are serious reasons for being blocked. Initially, I was thought to be a sockpuppet account, but I denied this and there was no confirmation from checkusers. Inzo blocked me because he believed I had committed an offense that warranted a block. I tried to explain everything in my replies, but unfortunately, it didn't seem to make a difference, so I eventually decided to stop trying.

- I was working on that particular article for more than 2 or 3 days in an effort to improve it, so that single edit was not a response to a deletion nomination, but a continuous effort on my part to enhance the article. I was unaware of the deletion nomination until someone informed me on my talk page. Initially, I had very little understanding of Wikimedia licensing and copyright, but now I can assure you that I have learned a great deal about image licensing and have successfully uploaded more than 50 pictures on Commons.
- Regarding the Gaby Guha article, I acknowledge that it was during my starting phase when I had limited knowledge and made several mistakes. However, over time, I have learned a lot and improved my understanding of editing Wikipedia. As far as I know, the Gaby Guha article was not published. Which interactions are those? - Regarding Belbury's comment below regarding evidence, it is not clear how many uploads there were, or was there only one. - It looks like my account was wrongfully blocked due to some misunderstandings and suspicions, but now this is clear that there’s no evidence about it, I believe my account should be unblocked and I request again to reconsider the decision.
- There is no Socking, No COI/UPE, and even the most significant argument by @Belbury which caused the block to turn out to be not true. (Within minutes of action on commons, later they said it was more than 1 hour.)

- @Belbury: Can you provide the timestamp details of Zuck28's uploads of 13 February? I see File:Suresh Gupta AICWA.jpg uploaded at 2:04pm UTC. Your notice for deletion was at 12:55pm UTC. It is possible the other uploads have been deleted, and I can't see it in user contributions as I'm not an admin on Commons (but I don't suppose you are either, so you'll have to take help of a Commons admin). How did you find out about the 10 minute spaced upload? Was it from the image addition at Suresh Shyamlal Gupta?

Dear Administrators, It’s been more than 6 months since I was blocked indefinitely on the suspicion of being a sockpuppet. I acknowledge the reasons for my block and understand the community's concerns regarding my activity on Wikipedia. I understand that my actions, while well-intentioned, did not comply with WP copyright policies. I have taken time to understand the image use policies & copyright guidelines. I am committed to following the policies very carefully while editing Wikipedia. I want to promise that I am not using multiple accounts to evade blocks or anything which counts as sock puppetry. - Instead of adding more templates to the article due of the presence of a terrible source, it is your responsibility as a responsible Wikipedia editor to delete unreliable sources from that page with good reason.

- Sometimes the subject of an article will undergo a change of name. When this occurs, we give extra weight to independent, reliable, English-language sources ("reliable sources" for short) written after the name change. If the reliable sources written after the change is announced routinely use the new name, Wikipedia should follow suit and change relevant titles to match.
- A primary google search indicates that majority of the reliable sources are using the new name “Gurugram” instead of Gurgaon, the term Gurgaon is used only for a small locality in the city now.

- Zuck28, you've done (and are still doing) solid work on the article — just wanted to say that. You might consider adding her height to the infobox (not her weight — that's never really cool to include). I also left a couple of notes on the Talk page: one suggesting the Hindi-script version of her name belongs in the intro (helps non-Hindi editors like me when searching), and another offering some context around whether caste should be mentioned.
- Also — I took a quick look at some of your other edits. You do thoughtful, interesting work that clearly makes Wikipedia better.
- IMHO, you solidified article, prior to the AfD – structured it with room to grow alongside Rathee's career. Recent improvements, built on your work, really reflects that growth. If it survives this AfD (fingers crossed), the work you've done becomes part of that trajectory. If not, it's worth keeping a copy of your latest version somewhere (I'm doing it, lol). Accessing deleted pages is up to admin discretion, and it's always good to have a backup.

About the name in Hindi-script, I noticed, @Arjayay has removed the Hindi text by citing WP:NOINDICSCRIPT, and I believe he’s a senior editor with better understanding of the guidelines than me, so I request him to kindly assist with his wisdom. Also, I am not sure about the caste thing, but I am aware that many Bollywood actors' article have their ethnicity and caste mentioned in early life sections.
- I am happy someone noticed and acknowledged my work on Wikipedia, but I still believe I am in my learning stage, I like your style of editing, specifically the citation style, I tried to imitate this by using SNF template but failed.
- As per your recommendation I have copied and saved the content. And I believe the article will survive, because of the honest and genuine editors like you exist here. Your argument is the strongest in the discussion with detailed evaluation and covering all the aspects of the discussion.

- I'm trying to figure out what exactly "Tum Kya Mile" refers to in the IIA table. It may be a misattribution unless we can find a solid source connecting it directly to Rathee's performance.
- I do think the Hindi script version of her name should be restored — it's part of how she's identified in media covering her Hindi-language work, and helpful for searching across languages.
- Re: the CITEREF system — here's a trick:
The syntax is:

When you want to use it in the references list, just remove the "Ref" part, like this:

- Hi Zuck28 — I noticed the speedy deletion tag on the Rajbir Singh article. I'm not jumping into the discussion myself, but I just wanted to say: don't be discouraged. Academic notability — especially for vice-chancellors and UGC-affiliated figures — doesn't always come with headline coverage, but that's exactly why Wikipedia has WP:PROF. Professors aren't influencers, and notability isn't always Google-deep.
- You've clearly done the groundwork: institutional leadership, national rankings, program milestones, student initiatives — it's well structured and policy-aligned. That already puts it ahead of many A7-tagged articles.
- If you decide to follow up with the tagger, I'd say take a fencing approach — calm footwork, clean parries, and no wild lunges. Just lead with the sources and policy. A good touch is made with timing and precision, not force.

Adding an image on infobox

- I discovered the topic through Women in Red. However, while I was expanding the article, you quickly added a speedy deletion tag. - I would have deleted this anyway. I suggest you find abundant sources, (at least three or four) before you create a draft about any subject. Seeing several reliable sources in draftspace will prevent most sorts of speedy deletion on your page creations. BusterD (talk) 15:35, 21 August 2025 (UTC)

- I have no interest in reading these sources now. I assumed good faith you had them; you're not known as a troublesome user. The reviewer on the other hand is always very interested in seeing sources, and will tag your page for speedy deletion without them. - I've deleted it because, like yesterday, this is largely unsourced. I agree with Fram that this seems to be a page to accuse someone of crimes, so it is an attack page. Do not expect me to engage with you on the merits or restore the page at your request. As I said yesterday, when pages are properly sourced, nobody tags them for CSD. - I understand your concern about sourcing but today in this case, the article was in its initial form and the two sources, Hindustan Times and India Today were enough to verify the content of the article. And it was clear that I was editing it to expand with more sources. I apologise and accept my mistake, that I forgot to add the {{in use}} tag and enough sources. But I pledge to not repeat the same mistake.
