Topic ban appeal
[edit]I have removed your topic ban appeal. Please sit down and, with a clear head, write a short paragraph explain why your topic ban is no longer needed and what you have learned over the past year. Begging is not helpful and will set your appeal back. Once you have done that, please follow the directions at the top of Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Clarification and Amendment. As a reminder, the committee will not entertain an appeal of your restrictions until 25 July 2022. -- Guerillero Parlez Moi 22:05, 11 February 2023 (UTC)

Genocide against Palestinians
[edit]Dear @Thepharoah17,
As an active contributor to articles on the Israel-Palestine conflict, I was wondering whether you might like to aid the pursuit of knowledge on this topic by contributing to this page: Genocide against Palestinians.
It is newly-established and could use some more sources, viewpoints, statistics and descriptions of the life of the Palestinians under Israeli rule. What do you think? Of course, feel free to say no :)

Unprotection - my mistake
[edit]Hi, I just fulfilled your two unprotection requests at WP:RfPP, as I felt they were reasonable. However, I erred. I should have pointed out that per WP:UNPROTPOL, the correct process is to first ask the protecting admin (in this case @Casliber) on their talk page to unprotect, especially as CasLiber is still active and responsive. It was my mistake for not catching that, but I wanted to let you know so you can follow the protocol in the future. I'm pinging Casliber just so they are aware. Mea culpa! —Ganesha811 (talk) 22:45, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
- I've just addressed each entry in the entire list at RfPP. When the protecting admin was not available (retired, deceased, etc.) I made the call myself. When the admin was available I pinged them to the discussion. I agree with Ganesha811 that you should start with the protecting admin if available. At the very least, do your own pings, because I spent fifteen minutes doing work you properly should have done yourself. I also agree that testing unprotection in some cases is a reasonable thing to do. BusterD (talk) 12:24, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
- Ummm..yeah. happy to discuss any old protections at any time etc. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 09:47, 22 March 2025 (UTC)

Disruptive removals of information related to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
[edit]Hello, I’ve noticed that you’ve been removing references to this university being located in Israel across many articles. The Hebrew University's main campuses — Mount Scopus and Givat Ram — are both located well within the Green Line, in areas internationally recognized as part of Israel in academic, diplomatic, and media contexts. Wikipedia is built on principles of neutrality, verifiability, and reflecting significant views as presented in reliable sources. Please restore the content you removed; if you believe there is a legitimate dispute, feel free to open a discussion on the relevant talk page. Unilateral removal of sourced, factual information may be considered disruptive editing. Thank you for your cooperation. BlookyNapsta (talk) 10:36, 25 March 2025 (UTC)
- This edit, by the way, appears to be disruptive. The edit summary is misleading. Writing "wl" while also removing content gives a false impression of what was changed and obscures the nature of the edit. Please ensure that your edit summaries accurately reflect the edits being made. BlookyNapsta (talk) 10:46, 25 March 2025 (UTC)

PRODs
[edit]Hello, Thepharoah17,
If you want to tag a lot of articles for Proposed deletion, please do not tag dozens in one bunch, pace yourself and spread them out over time. Each Proposed deletion has to be individually assessed by an admin plus any editors who are into reviewing PRODs and it is easier if they aren't all tagged over the same 5 or 10 minute time period.
Thank you for all of your contributions. Liz Read! Talk! 21:58, 8 June 2025 (UTC)

Regarding RfD...
[edit]I saw your comment regarding the Culture of vegetables nomination, which with explanation is understandable. The issue I have been seeing with your nominations is that you add comments to your initial nomination either with a secondary signature or after there have already been comments, the latter of which (others have made comments after your nomination started) is a violation of a guideline established at WP:REDACTED. For the former issue; the best (and really only) time to update your nomination and not have to follow WP:REDACTED is if no one has yet to comment in your discussion; basically, stating you added additional redirects to your nomination and putting that statement at the top of the nomination under your initial nomination statement can be seen as misleading since it doesn't match the chronological order which the actions and comments occurred.
If you make any changes to your nomination after someone else has commented in the nomination, it would be better to state what you did after the most recent comment. Either way, thanks for participating in RfD; good to see some new editors (well, new to RfD, I should say) doing so much over there. Steel1943 (talk) 01:05, 20 June 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from ar:ناصر منصور هادي to Nasser Mansour Hadi. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:
NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.
Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you.
