Thanks for your additions to this article which I created nine years ago (being a Mikron enthusiast). I've updated the tense so it no longer says his play "will be" performed in 2016.
But I'm puzzled: what's your source for his year and place of birth? I don't see them in his Mandy profile. And how are you adding a web source which is already a dead link and not accessible at the Internet Archive? PamD 09:09, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
- It was via the Google description when I was researching, it just have been taken down fairly recently. That said, I just added a non-dead source + the birth index for additional verification. Hopefully that works? :) Starklinson (talk) 09:28, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hmm, I don't think registration records are allowed as sources for BLP date of birth. And the Aurora website just says Lincolnshire, so where does Cleethorpes come from?
- The Google descriptions are AI stuff and not to be trusted, and can't be a "Reliable Source" because they are so ephemeral.
- As he hasn't published his year of birth anywhere that we can find, I'm pretty sure the BLP rules are that it must not be included from registration records. PamD 09:40, 27 January 2025 (UTC)

Picture of Dan and Phil at the Terrible Influence Tour
[edit]Hi, if I've looked this up correctly, you were the person that added the much better picture of Dan and Phil at the Terrible Influence Tour last year. I saw that it was gone again now and the old pictures are back, and just wanted to shoot you a message. I really enjoyed that newer picture and think it would be great if it could be brought back!

Apologies to so brazenly ask, but if you could attempt to reupload the pictures with proper copyright etiquette, and then have that be the face of the article once more, I think that would be excellent. - Hi! The issue that came up with the image is that Dan physically took the selfie - thus he is considered the owner of the image, and it's him who needs to give permission for its use (though he gave it in person, I couldn't prove it). Sadly didn't realise this when requesting the selfie, thought simply having the original photo was enough. Tried to work it out via email, but to no avail.
