[edit] Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you recently removed content from Sittwe without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Arjayay (talk) 09:24, 18 October 2024 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Arakan Army, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 12:56, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia!
[edit] Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button
located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when. Thank you. ― Levi_OPTalk 02:34, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mrauk U invasion of Pegu, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ayutthaya. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 19:54, 5 March 2025 (UTC)

Operation Brahma
[edit]Since, you have taken interest in the article, I would suggest for copyedit, as well as re-structuring with sub-sections like IAF's role and India Navy's role. I am adding other images too. And kindly archive all the citations. You can check the article Operation Dost for ideas. Thank you. Drat8sub (talk) 19:23, 29 March 2025 (UTC)

- Use waybackmachine for archiving.Drat8sub (talk) 19:58, 29 March 2025 (UTC)
- I use WP:IABOT for archiving but as for now, it seems the bot isnt responding and working properly. Moreover, idk how to use waybackmachine manually. I do not think you need to worry about archiving the citations now, they won't get dead that early, we can do it after 2-3 days. And good job for uploading the images anyways! Myanmar M7.7 earthquake
[edit]You removed my addition, so I entered a new version with links the relevant websites. My contribution was yanked again, and I cannot find a reason for this. I have not edited wikipedia for years, I have to learn again. However, I am not used to this uninformative treatment. Please explain what your objectin is this time thanks Prof Dr Max Wyss MaxWyss (talk) 17:58, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- you did not add the sources as citations properly. Citation and links are not the same. Click on the citation option and add the source instead of adding the source on wiki links (external source).. Also if ur edit was yanked again by another user, but you think it is informative, it was probably you have caused some errors.. I suggest open a new section on the talk page of the desired page you were editing, not here. & welcome. Imwin567 (talk) 18:06, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
Myanmar earthquake
[edit]The intro to Myanmar earthquake contains: “The strike-slip (I changed "shock" to be more informative) achieved a maximum intensity of X.” This text contains no reference for the assertion it contains. Any type of writing must contain a reference for the Intensity source. Could you please correct this? Thank you

[edit]I wanted to say "thank you" for leaving warning messages on talk pages when you revert someone's edits. It makes it easier and faster to decide if it's time for a block. I appreciate the extra time you take to do this step. It DOES make a difference. Joyous! Noise! 02:20, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
AFDs
[edit]Hello, Imwin567,
I didn't like your closure statement at AFDs like Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mademoiselle Boop where you state The result was keep based on the majority of votes.
. An AFD is not a vote count. This reflects an unfamiliarity with policy like Wikipedia:Articles for deletion#Procedure for non-administrator close (other) and the entire page which asserts Consensus is not based on a tally of votes, but on reasonable, logical, policy-based arguments.
Wikipedia:Non-admin closure is also essential reading for any non-admin who wants to close discussions, deletion or RFCs.
You have only been editing for six months so I'm unsure if you are experienced enough to be closing deletion discussions. But I'm not going to ask you to stop right now, this is just a warning that if you wish to continue helping out at AFD, you have to carefully read the relevant policy pages and follow Wikipedia guidelines. If you have questions, you can bring them to my User talk page or go to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:05, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your notification and warning. And yep I've been only editing for 6 months. I understood the subject and I'll make sure to close an AFD properly next time . If I still make mistakes, I'd be glad to recieve such warnings. Imwin567 (talk) 02:31, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Imwin567 - I've also come across your close here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Super 8 Twenty20 Cup which includes the statement: "The result was keep per minimal participation votes". The three editors were divided in their opinions on the notability of the subject. Closing an article as keep would indicate that the discussion reached a consensus that the subject was notable; participation alone in a discussion cannot give such an indication. I would encourage you to revert your closure and leave it for another to close. Participating in AfD discussions would be more appropriate at this time. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 11:48, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
- `Hi @Imwin567 - I see you've been active since I left this note, would you respond please? Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 11:58, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry the issues. I've reverted and restored the previous version. And I'll keep in mind about how to close the AFDs next time incase if I do. Thank you for your warning. @Goldsztajn Imwin567 (talk) 12:17, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks @Imwin567 for the quick reply and appreciate you doing that. If I can repeat my advice, please don't close any more discussions until you have much more experience contributing to the discussions. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 12:34, 21 April 2025 (UTC)

Rollback and pending changes reviewer
[edit]Hello Imwin567. Your account has been granted the "rollbacker" and "pending changes reviewer" user rights. These user rights allow you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes and quickly revert the edits of other users.

- Please keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin).

- The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection enabled is located at Special:StablePages. You may find the following pages useful to review:
- Wikipedia:Reviewing pending changes, the guideline on reviewing.
- Wikipedia:Pending changes, the summary of the use of pending changes.
- Wikipedia:Protection policy#Pending changes protection, the policy determining which pages can be given pending changes protection by administrators.
Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of reviewer or rollback. If you no longer want either of these user rights, contact me and I'll remove it, alternatively you can leave a request on the administrators' noticeboard. Happy editing! Tag on article
[edit]Hi Imwin567! thanks for your recent review of my article Furhat (robot). Based on your review, would you please consider removing the NPOV paid disclosure tag too? I'd really appreciate it! Viljowf (talk) 12:47, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- The article is still not written in a NPOV. I'd request you to rephrase the writings again. Mainly rephrese these sections: *Named deployments, *Public reception and *Applications.
- Read WP:MOS. Do not use exaggerated words about the subject, that causes puffery. Do not make the article look like its an advertisement.
- Also please do not use bullets (on Named deployments and Applications section) as per WP:PROSE. Imwin567 (talk) 13:22, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
Sittwe University moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Sittwe University. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Bakhtar40 (talk) 10:44, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- Might as well move the every articles of this Category:Myanmar university stubs or even Category:India university stubs into draftspace lol. Also I don't find anything advertising except for the Degrees offered part which is common as well among all University related pages. Stub pages can exist and that is why there's a thing called "stub" in Wikipedia. @Bakhtar40 WinKyaw (talk) 11:07, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- If you think, moving into draft, is not a right decision, you may submit the draft and let this reviewed by other editors. Bakhtar40 (talk) 11:13, 27 April 2025 (UTC)

Non-attributed translations
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from my:စစ်တွေတက္ကသိုလ် to Sittwe University. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:
NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.
Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 12:06, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
