Hello
[edit]I apologise for not responding to you sooner, I'm not sure why I didn't. I just wanted to thank you for complementing my Geno draft, even though you already made your own. I am sorry for the overlap, I had no idea. I wish you luck in your future endeavours in your future here in creating Wikipedia articles. Best wishes, CaptainGalaxy 23:50, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- That's okay and I got it that you have no idea that I'm working Geno draft and hopefully in the future, more characters and that including video game characters will be notably enough to have it own article.🙂 NatwonTSG2 (talk) 00:03, 10 February 2024 (UTC)

- Hey! Just a heads up that I know that article deletion discussions can be very unmotivating. I thought the article itself and your efforts were of very good quality, just the sourcing maybe wasn't enough for notability. I'm hoping that the consensus can be to merge the article with one of the Wii Sports ones so that your work isn't lost. Appreciate your understanding. VRXCES (talk) 23:00, 28 March 2024 (UTC)

Sonic characters
[edit]Why do the film characters not fit the list of sonic the hedgehog characters section "characters from other media". They are characters from other media. Should an additional page be created for characters in the Sonic film franchise? Anonymous29345 (talk) 14:43, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- The reason why I didn't featured the film characters are because of the inclusion of the article's talk page that characters from other media who didn't make any major game appearances will not be listed. And also no, I don't think an additional page for characters of the Sonic film series won't be created so. NatwonTSG2 (talk) 22:32, 28 May 2024 (UTC)

Re: Big the Cat
[edit]For what it's worth, I've been trying to find sources for it, and while there is some discussion it'd be hard to push. I don't think you should be discouraged by the AfD though, we've had many subjects on the verge that only blossom after a particular version gets enough reaction (case in point, Rayman). Kung Fu Man (talk) 15:52, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
- I had kinda decided to not get too discouraged just because a few articles that I created got AFD. Creating an article based around a character is no easy thing. That Rayman article which you pointed out took over a year of losing hopes of the creation of the article due of many rejections to be finally created on February 2024 and since then, it like "I know what I'm doing but no matter what, it get redirected." Maybe it would be best if I tried at least some feedback with other users or started it as a draft article instead of a sandbox but as this one user described my writing is just unpleasant. That the reason why I decided to quit Wikipedia however, due of upcoming tasks and a good article nominations, I decided to stay in and not argue over. NatwonTSG2 (talk) 23:05, 30 May 2024 (UTC)

While I was perusing this article, I had noticed you left an edit summary stating that a user was “probably unsure what they are contributing.” However, taking a look at what has changed, you seem to have removed several clarification tags that an IP user has placed. Normally, these tags are used when there is unclear content, so the user must have found some parts of the article confusing. With all due respect, all you did was remove the tags without rephrasing any content. 195.55.86.146 (talk) 17:00, 8 June 2024 (UTC)

Tips for future articles
[edit]CC-BY-SA declaration; this section was copied from the Requests page here by me; see that page's history for full attribution. Mox Eden (talk) 05:25, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I have completed your request for Rayman (video game) on WP:GOCER. Here are some tips for future articles:
- The summary of a work's plot should be written in historical present tense rather than past tense.
- You should not put quote marks over just all subjective-sounding adjectives said in the source; you should put them over the full relevant fragment of the sentence unless the source text is in some way different from the article text, lest it implies doubt. (e.g., "plain irritating" and difficult to "plain irritating and damned difficult" and "wonderfully clever" gaming elements, "engaging and humorous" characters and "terrific" music to "wonderfully clever gaming elements, engaging and humorous characters, terrific music, and heaps of whimsy".) MOS:QUOTEPOV explains it better.
- Do not use contractions in the article unless they are present in a quote.
- Linking to adolescence in the quote "ennobles the adolescence world of video games" (for which I changed "adolescence" to "adolescent", as that is what the source said) was not necessary, as the concept of adolescence has otherwise nothing to do with the article.
- "Difficultly" means done with difficulty, not make things difficult.
- "Probably" and "maybe" should not be used in the same sentence to describe the same thing, as that would be redundant.
- "Venturing" means that a question or statement was said in an uncertain way. Since there is no indication that Next Generation was uncertain about the quality of the Atari Jungle version, I have changed "venturing" to "saying that".

2nd Opinion
[edit]Hey Natwon, just wanted to let you know about some goings on regarding the GA review for Geno. I appreciate your willingness to take on such a task, and hope to hear back with more of the critiques you have regarding the article. However, I also think it is best if I ask for an additional reviewer as I just want some oversight from an editor with more expertise on the subject to just give some feedback on the article. This second opinion will show up in due course, whenever an editor is willing to take up the challenge. I just think some extra help here would be best. Regarding Draft:Sonic the Hedgehog fandom
[edit]Hello @Plantcoal! I am writing regarding your AfC submission Draft:Sonic the Hedgehog fandom. You will see that I have made some wording edits, for example contractions like 'aren't' are not encyclopaedic. There were also some other sentences that did not meet WP:NPOV. These have been reworded! It has been a while since the draft was last declined, and the issues which that review raised I feel have been addressed adequately. I will therefore be accepting the draft! Unfortunately, as of right now I am unable to accept the draft as a redirect page already exists with the same name. I have requested this be deleted. This should hopefully take place soon! My recommendation now would be to go over the draft one last time checking for any typos and suchlike. Thank you for submitting this draft and happy editing! 11WB (talk) 17:26, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
- Just as an aside, whilst Wikipedia is not censored, the fourth paragraph in the Fan base section was a bit problematic for Wikipedia. Specifically under WP:TONE and WP:UNDUE. '
Generally, the views of tiny minorities should not be included at all, except perhaps in a "see also" to an article about those specific views. For example, the article on the Earth does not directly mention modern support for the flat Earth concept, the view of a distinct (and minuscule) minority; to do so would give undue weight to it.
' However, 'How much detail is required depends on the subject.
' To maintain a fair balance of both of these points, I did not remove the paragraph entirely, instead I reworded it so that less detail was required but was still relevant to the article as a whole. I hope this makes sense! 11WB (talk) 17:39, 10 August 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Hello @Plantcoal. Unfortunately, administrator @Sergecross73 has disapproved of my AfC acceptance of your article. The reason for this being prose related. I have returned it to draft until copy-editing takes place to resolve this: Draft:Sonic the Hedgehog fandom. I apologise profusely for this and I express sadness at my failing to properly review your draft according to AfC procedure. I will try my hardest not to repeat this mistake in future. This is not your fault in any way, this is entirely on me. 11WB (talk) 01:08, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- Really, that was the best writing that I can do and yet, some administrator just pushes it back to draft mode because of too many issues despite me not seeing any. Not going to argue, just learn some stuff and go back next year. plantCOAL 01:15, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- I returned it to draft. Sergecross added the prose template. I acted on a clear signal of disapproval. I should mention I've only been an AfC reviewer since Aug 4, I am very, very new. I am also still progressing through WP:NPP/S. I've left a message on their talk page explaining what I've done to alleviate their disapproval. Thank you for submitting your draft to AfC, I still believe it is able to be in mainspace once copy-editing has taken place. Definitely do not beat yourself up over this, this is 100% my fault! 11WB (talk) 01:19, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- Courtesy ping for @SleepyRedHair so they are aware of what has happened! 11WB (talk) 01:22, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- @Plantcoal, I should mention here my decision to return the article to draft may not actually be something I'm authorised to do (I think only new page reviewers and admins are authorised). In the event that is the case, I will put my reasoning as being under WP:DRAFTONCE. It's my recommendation to not move the draft back until Sergecross has seen these talk page messages, as they may have a different opinion here. 11WB (talk) 01:35, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- I don't doubt that there's the sourcing needed to be notable, it's just that...it's still in pretty rough shape when it comes to the actual writing of the article. I mean, read the opening sentence of the article outside of the lead.
- Sonic the Hedgehog is known for being built around the notion that, contrary to the Mario franchise, Sonic is a character who directs the player by breaking the fourth wall.
- I mean, read that out loud to yourself. Does that really sound good to you? "Being known for being built around the notion" is extremely awkward wording. I wanted to try to fix it myself, but the article is filled with sentences like this. And filled with these sentences with no real flow between them. It's a fine rough draft, but it's not ready to be read by the general public. Sergecross73 msg me 01:50, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- I did read that back yesterday and felt it was not encyclopaedic, however I have a habit of doubting myself. The sources were fine from my review, as I left in my feedback above on this talk page from Aug 10, my issues were with how it read. I do agree with @Sergecross73 on this one. I should not have accepted the draft yet, and for that I apologise. 11WB (talk) 01:56, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- It's fine. It happens. No one should be upset here. I think you'll get there. It's just not ready quite yet. Sergecross73 msg me 01:57, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- Sergecross, I am currently enrolled in NPP/S. I am concerned that with this disapproval and the recent Enderman situation (you can find those discussions in my user edit history) - I feel I may not be suitable for AfC reviewing yet, let alone NPP rights. At your discretion, I would accept being removed from AfC at this time until my experience has shown to improve. 11WB (talk) 01:58, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- If no one's pushing for your removal (I'm not) I'd just take a pause from it and jump back in when you feel comfortable with it again. Sergecross73 msg me 02:03, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for this. Seeing your edit did initially set off some alarm bells for me, I must admit. I will absolutely act on your advice and take a short reflective break from reviewing AfC drafts for the moment. I will get back onto completing NPP/S which I have admittedly neglected this week. I really appreciate your feedback and I'll take this as a soft warning that I really need to take more time and care when doing things on the project! 11WB (talk) 02:09, 16 August 2025 (UTC)

Either here or over on the discussion you started on my talk page will be fine. Thank you. 11WB (talk) 15:01, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- I have spent about 45 minutes performing some copyedits to the article. Particularly the lead paragraph which was not encyclopaedic in its previous form. I have gone through multiple sections to make improvements I feel are necessary to address the issues Sergecross has highlighted. This is considerably more important now that the article is in mainspace and not in draft. I accept responsibility for accepting the draft before it was ready and for moving it back to draft without authorisation, I apologise for both of these errors on my part. I am not expecting Liz to respond here directly, so I think instead of trying to move the article back to draft, it is important to take care of the prose issues as quickly as possible seeing as the public is now able to view the article. 11WB (talk) 17:19, 16 August 2025 (UTC)

Definitely do not beat yourself up over this, this is 100% my fault! 11WB (talk) 01:19, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
Hi there @Plantcoal,
I noticed your name under the video games section at WP:PR/V and was wondering if you would be willing to take a look at Natlan. It just recently gained GA status and I'm looking to get it to FAC soon. I have no experience with FAC so it would mean a lot to me if you could review it or point me in the right direction. You can find the peer review for that article at Wikipedia:Peer review/Natlan (Genshin Impact)/archive1.
Thanks! Gommeh 📖/🎮 15:12, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
- Oh, I'm not that experience toward FAC since I have been intermediate in GAN so. plantCOAL 22:57, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
L Is for Love (The Loud House)
[edit]Hello there, @Plantcoal,
I am proud of the collaboration we made to get the Luna Loud article public. I decided to follow it up by drafting an article on the episode that introduced her LGBTQ status, "L Is for Love," since many of the sources we used on that article could also work well in a page about the episode. You can view it at Draft:L Is for Love (The Loud House). I would appreciate it if you got on board to help develop the article.
