[edit] Hello, I'm FunnyMath. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to 2020 Nashville bombing have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. FunnyMath (talk) 07:04, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Love of Corey. I noticed that you recently removed content from 2020 Nashville bombing without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Love of Corey (talk) 07:07, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, this is Leopard of the Snows. I've reverted your changes to Destiny (streamer) multiple times and want to explain why. I pinged you on talk:Destiny (streamer) the last time you made revisions, but I will assume you didn't see that. Your most recent revisions include removing all citations under the "Political views" section, removing relevant and necessary information there, and adding new information without citations while using some incorrect punctuation. I am assuming good faith, but given that you have continued reverting the changes made by others on that page, I ask that you please, please, please discuss further changes on talk:Destiny (streamer). If you are a new user simply testing Wikipedia's tools, then please use sandbox instead of removing the relevant work of others on a published page. Always remember that new changes must be properly cited and correctly formatted. If you have questions about Wikipedia's tools or content guidelines, then don't hesitate to ask at Teahouse. Thank you. Leopard of the Snows (talk) 19:54, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not add or change content, as you did at Surfside condominium building collapse, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. General Ization Talk 21:45, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
Deaths redlinks
[edit]Just FYI since I've seen you do it a few times: the deaths pages lists redlinks for 1 month, at which point they are removed. This is so articles can be easily detected while pruning the list (and external sources that rely on the deaths list look for the first link in a listing to determine the person's name). [edit]your personal bias on TP's
[edit]Please leave your personal opinions on legal matters out of your comments on TP's which are also governed by our BLP restrictions, as you did on the article about the accidental shooting by Kim Potter. Wiki could be liable for your slander of her.
Could you please explain to me how what I said could be considered slander. Thecornerwiki (talk) 17:16, 24 December 2021 (UTC)

Updating casualty counts
[edit]Thanks for updating casualty counts. Can you update the source also when you change the number? Otherwise we have a current number sourced to an old source with an old number. And it would be good to know what source(s) the new number came from. Thanks again. Levivich (talk) 18:54, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- You're welcome. I am getting the causality count data of the page for the Israel-Hamas War. Which is sourced from the Israeli Government, and Gaza Health Ministry. Thank you for reading. NesserWiki (talk) 19:29, 21 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]You cannot post a twitter link to an obvious fake/hack job trying to "out" someone's sexuality. Be better. Zaathras (talk) 12:09, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
- I do not think it was either or a hack job. Everything I have seen points to this being legitimate. NesserWiki (talk) 07:15, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
- Your Masters degree in Internet Sleuthing isn't the point. Posting disparaging gossip sources to social media is the point. Zaathras (talk) 13:11, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
List of F5 and EF5 tornadoes Improvement Time!
[edit]Hello there! I am sending this alert to all members of the WikiProject Weather and editors who have recently edited in the realm of tornadoes.
There is a large and important discussion ongoing, with the goal to completely overhaul and improve the List of F5 and EF5 tornadoes. The previous improvement attempt back in 2022/2023 gained almost no participation. This alert is being sent out so these discussions hopefully gain a reasonably-sized participation, so the F5/EF5 tornado article, one of the most viewed weather-related articles on Wikipedia, can be improved for all readers!
If you wish to participate, please visit: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Weather/Possible F5/EF5/IF5 tornadoes. The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 17:40, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
"US" vs "U.S."
[edit]Thanks for the correction on AI slop, but Wikipedia's style guide at MOS:US rules against introducing such punctuation. Belbury (talk) 09:53, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
Hello. I noticed that you moved the page United Air Lines Flight 389. I've reverted that move. The reason why is because, before 1975, the airline was called "United Air Lines" not "United Airlines". The Flight 389 accident occurred in 1965 which was obviously before 1975. Even the final report and secondary sources say "United Air Lines". I hope you understand. Concensus...
[edit][1] ...is spelled "consensus". I mention this only because I've seen you misspell it several times; it's not a mere typo. ―Mandruss ☎ IMO. 06:22, 7 April 2025 (UTC)
MacArthur
[edit]I've reverted your categorization of Douglas MacArthur as anti-fascist as the article doesn't discuss it. I believe categories are for "distinguishing" characteristics that the person is known for. His anti-communism is clear from the article. That he fought for the allies in WWII would indicate his attitude toward fascism, but it isn't a distinguishing characteristic. At least from what one reads in the article. --John (User:Jwy/talk) 05:44, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
Bold and section headers
[edit]Hi NesserWiki. I edited some of the nonstandard section headings you added to Zohran Mamdani, and I see that you added some more and were reverted again, and seemed to be wondering why. Wikipedia has various manuals of style to ensure that all of our articles have a uniform look and meet certain standards for accessibility. Deviating from these style guides is more than just a visual choice, it actually breaks things. In particular, section headings are automatically bolded by the software that Wikipedia runs on, so when you add bold to a section heading you're actually making it double bold, which makes other things on the page render differently than expected or sometimes not at all, and can cause problems with section links.
The two sections of the main manual of style that you should have a look at are MOS:BOLD and MOS:HEADINGS. Cheers. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 12:12, 2 August 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Futurama, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. Edit summaries
[edit]Hi there. Can you please consider leaving edit summaries when editing, particularly involving contentious articles like Charlie Kirk. It makes it difficult to keep track of what's being changed without them. Local Variable (talk) 16:31, 17 September 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, my bad. NesserWiki (talk) 16:32, 17 September 2025 (UTC)
- No problem! I get that it's annoying when you're only making small edits. Local Variable (talk) 16:33, 17 September 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Hi, and thank you for your edits to Wikipedia. I wanted to follow up about an edit where, Ammiel Alcalay was removed from a parent category.
This category is part of a group that falls under WP:EGRS, which covers categories based on ethnicity, gender, religion, sexuality, or disability. These categories are typically set up as non-diffusing. That means when a page is added to a subcategory like this one, it's still meant to be included in the parent category as well.
This is important because removing someone from the parent category can unintentionally change who appears to "belong" there. Over time, that can make the main category look less representative than it actually is, which the EGRS guideline is designed to avoid.
If you're not sure whether a subcategory is non-diffusing, you can often check the category page itself; many include a note or template. You can also read more at WP:EGRS and in the section on the final-rung rule. If you need further help, ask at the Teahouse. please stop removing people from non-diffusing parent categories. Category:Jewish American activists for Palestinian solidarity should also be in Category:American activists for Palestinian solidarity SMasonGarrison 15:16, 21 September 2025 (UTC)
