Signature
[edit]By the way, your signature reads quite awkwardly. It looks as if it is the beginning of a new sentence, and not at all like a signature. Would you please fix that? —VersaceSpace 🌃 01:39, 5 November 2022 (UTC)

DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:47, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Replaceable non-free use File:Knowledge Channel logo.png
[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:Knowledge Channel logo.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing<your reason>with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 26 March 2024 (UTC)

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible!♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:44, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Battles in 1842
[edit]
A tag has been placed on Category:Battles in 1842 indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. ✗plicit 12:26, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
Distinction between Qusumi and Kusumi
[edit]Hello, thank you for contributing to the Kodoku no Gourmet page.
Just a quick inquiry; I understand the reasoning for editing Qusumi into Kusumi, following the Hepburn system, but considering that Qusumi is a stylized version of his name that is widely known and used by himself (as seen in the URL of his blog, account on Twitter, and in the titlecards for the ふらっとQUSUMI part in the show itself), I was wondering whether it's better to keep the Hepburn-style name or change it back to the stylized one. I'm not too knowledgeable regarding Wikipedia's general style guides regarding well-known nicknames. Splendidfoolisheditor (talk) 20:48, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. According to WP:ROMAJI, it says that Hepburn should be used except when another style is used more commonly. The sources you gave, the Wikidata item for Masayuki, and this use the Q, and three out of five of the Anime News Network sources in the article use K, with the rest using Q. There is no common variation from what I've seen, so I don't know what should be used. - Dents (talk2me 🖂) he/him btw!!! 07:50, 15 September 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Oblique Strategies. When you were adding content to the page, you added duplicate arguments to a template which can cause issues with how the template is rendered. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find these errors as they will display in yellow at the top of the page. Thanks. DYK for Shobaleader One: d'Demonstrator
[edit]On 5 October 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Shobaleader One: d'Demonstrator, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a dream of a concert inspired the creation of the band behind Shobaleader One: d'Demonstrator? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Shobaleader One: d'Demonstrator. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Shobaleader One: d'Demonstrator), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.
