Discussion on the fate of WikiProject Prussia at the talk page of WPFC
[edit]Currently, there are a few options floating around. Nobody wants it to die, and it seems most want this to become a task force in WikiProject Germany instead of WIkiProject Former countries.
My original idea, however, was just that; to transform WikiProject Prussia into a task force within WikiProject Former countries.
Please discuss about it there, if you want to weigh into the discussion. Thanks, wikipedia-kxeon mailbox 17:55, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

Need a German fluent editor to talk to a new user
[edit]Hello! I was recently approached by a new user, EineGroßeDecke222. They wanted some help with getting used to Wikipedia, however they mentioned that they had to use Google Translate to post in English on my page. I took some German in high school, however I am nowhere near knowledgeable enough to converse with someone, particularly when it comes to the ins and outs of Wikipedia.
Can someone help them out? I recommended that since they're using Google Translate, that it would be better if for the time being they helped more on the back end (finding sourcing and so on) rather than directly editing articles. Google Translate has improved greatly, but it still has some grammatical and translation errors at times. I also recommended that they look into editing the German Wikipedia as well.
Thanks! ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 11:31, 3 July 2025 (UTC)
- did you get the help you asked for ? Otherwise i can... Mr.Lovecraft (talk) 14:59, 17 July 2025 (UTC)

B-Class reassessment request: Charles Thau
[edit]Hello, I’d like to request a reassessment of the article Charles Thau, currently rated as C-class.
The article has undergone substantial expansion and improvement, including:
- Reliable, secondary sourcing from international and U.S. publications (e.g., *Freie Presse*, *Der Spiegel*, *The Forward*, *Military History Now*, *Milwaukee Journal*).
- A well-organized structure with clear sectioning (Early life, Partisan activity, Red Army service, Postwar, Recognition).
- Use of historical photographs with proper attribution.
- Compliance with WP:NPOV and WP:V, with personal connection declared.
I believe the article now satisfies the six B-class criteria: 1. **Well-written** 2. **Verifiable** 3. **Broad in coverage** 4. **Neutral** 5. **Stable** 6. **Illustrated**
Any feedback from reviewers is welcome. Thank you! Milwaukee911 (talk) 15:17, 24 July 2025 (UTC)

The article Ammendorf family has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unreferenced for many years. The bibliographic entries have red links. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. The excessive claims in this page border on a hoax. None of the individuals mentioned are notable. WP:TNT.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bearian (talk) 05:43, 1 August 2025 (UTC)

The article MusterMesse has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Tagged as Unreferenced for almost 12 years. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. This art festival has no reliable sources online; all the sources I could see are about a different festival in Switzerland.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Kommissbrot/K-brot
[edit]Hello! Can someone confirm that the pages Kommissbrot and K-brot are different enough to maintain separate articles? The both link to each other, but it seems they more-or-less cover the same topic. Any guidance would be appreciated. Mbdfar (talk) 00:52, 10 August 2025 (UTC)

The article Bremerhaven-Speckenbüttel station has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Tagged as Unreferenced for 15 years. I notified the WP Trains 4 times in the past 30 days that there is a backlog of unsourced train station articles, but I was rebuffed.
