Hi, I guess I don't understand what I need to do. I think I have all of this info in my article. Maybe I'm not wording it right. I think my article goes in-depth of the history of this sport and how it evolved over the last 20 years. I show reliable, secondary and independent sources in the 23 different reference's I just added and linked several Wikipedia articles to my article. I'm at a lost of where I go next.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your account has been blocked from editing because your username gives the impression that the account represents a group, team, club, organization, company, product, department, or website. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change to this account.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Important items to note:

  • The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
    • You are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually. Examples include: "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
  • The new username you choose cannot already be taken and used by another account. You can search here to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns, "There is no global account for [username]", that means it is available.

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, department, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Thank you. TheSandDoctor Talk 23:08, 1 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

I'm the one doing the article. I thought I was to use a company name. The reason for the article is to let the world know that a new sport has come about. Kind like the new sport of Crokicurl. I think I need to shorten the article up to get it started. Had a collage kid helping at the start and now I'm trying to finish it up. Thanks for your help.2604:3DC0:1:9DC1:505D:75A9:2BA4:58B8 (talk) 21:16, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

I've renamed you. Be advised that "to let the world know that a new" anything has come about is exactly the wrong reason to create an article. See WP:PROMO and WP:MADEUP. A subject must have already been noticed by independent reliable sources in order to merit inclusion based on our criteria. Wikipedia is the last place to write about something, not the first, as it follows the coverage, it does not lead it. Please keep this in mind. 331dot (talk) 01:12, 7 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thank you for getting back to me. Sorry I'm not a good writer. I did have AI help me on some of it. Can I use AI to write it all? Is there anyone that can help me write this better or can you tell me what parts I need to fix.
Thanks,
Tracy Tracy Scott (talk) 18:04, 11 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Please see WP:LLM to read about Wikipedia guidelines regarding LLM/AI use. In short, it would be better if you didn't, but it's possible.
In general writing a new article is the most difficult task to perform on Wikipedia, and it is usually recommended that newer users first gain experience and knowledge by editing existing articles first, to learn what is expected of article content. If you haven't, it may help to use the new user tutorial as well. 331dot (talk) 18:08, 11 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
