Improving sourcing for Dolder Waldhaus draft

[edit]

Hello Orlandov123, I’m a member of WikiProject Switzerland and have been assisting with drafts in the AfC queue. Your Dolder Waldhaus draft is off to a strong start, and it’s clear you’ve put in a lot of effort. I’ve added a source from the Tages-Anzeiger and improved the "Demolition and New Construction" section to strengthen the draft’s notability. I've also copyedited the lead for neutrality, making it better align with Wikipedia’s style. However, a few key details still need clearer sourcing to ensure the draft meets Wikipedia’s standards:

  • Lead History: The 1879 conception date, Heinrich Hürlimann’s role, and the 1894–95 timeline for the Dolderbahn, including Ulrich Bosshard’s contract, should be directly supported by reliable secondary sources (WP:RS & WP:V). Without clear sourcing, these details may be challenged or removed.
  • Notability: To meet WP:GNG, the draft needs independent coverage in high-quality sources like NZZ, Tages‑Anzeiger, and Swissinfo. Primary sources, such as the organization’s own site, can be useful for details but do not establish notability.

I recommend reviewing your sources, ensuring each claim in the article is accurately cited, and rephrasing or removing any unsupported details. If you’d like to chat about the draft, please feel free to ping me. Happy editing! HerBauhaus (talk) 12:49, 9 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @HerBauhaus, thanks a lot for your edits and your kind advice, I will be glad to work on the improvements you suggested! Orlandov123 (talk) 14:16, 11 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
