Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Thato Dithebe did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:35, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Okay thanks for the assist.🙏 Itumeleng Kingsley (talk) 08:37, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You're still not leaving edit summaries. Please do.
...or if you are, they're incorrect and misleading: this edit clearly wasn't "fix[ing] a typo". -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:37, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Elaine (other use), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Warriorglance(talk to me) 09:07, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to move pages to bad titles contrary to naming conventions or consensus, as you did at Elaine, you may be blocked from editing. Jalen Barks (Woof) 17:22, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Versace1608. I noticed that you recently removed content from Asake without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 16:35, 8 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I believe you removed content from the Asake article because you created a separate discography page. I am going to submit a request for the Asake's discography article to be renamed to Asake discography per Wikipedia's naming convention. Good job on creating the article and welcome to Wikipedia.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 16:54, 8 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Linda Mtoba (actress). Marking something as a typo fix does not get you past other users. Please stop. Banana ezWIN (talk) 15:53, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Linda Mtoba. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Why blanking?

[edit]

Why are you blanking pages? This constitutes as vandalism! Warriorglance(talk to me) 09:10, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

That was a duplicate article of Elaine. The South African singer had two Articles. The other one is Elaine while a duplicate is Elaine (singer).
I didn't intend any vandalism but it was confusing for me and probably other readers Itumeleng Kingsley (talk) 19:58, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thato Dithebe moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Thato Dithebe. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back.  Velella  Velella Talk   09:19, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Stone Cold Heart, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Elaine. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 19:54, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Untitled Meet The Parents Fourth Film has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The film is not shooting and there's already a more refined draft article ready to be published

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. KingArti (talk) 22:20, 8 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The film has been announced to start filming as soon as they wrap up casting. And if there is a refined draft article ready to be published it can be merged with the already existing article. Wikipedia is not a competitive journalism site ;it's an informative site that aims to help readers with a useful Information. Deleting The article because someone else has published a "BETTER REFINED ARTICLE" does not go as according to the Wikipedia standards. I suggest article improvement to any author with useful information relating to the article than deletion.
Thank You 💕 Itumeleng Kingsley (talk) 05:06, 9 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Candice Modiselle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from tvsa.co.za/actors/viewactor.aspx?actorid=17928. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article has recently been edited independently with prior editing skills that has published more articles on Wikipedia. The article on TVSA might have similar words but that shouldn't count as copied but can be considered as Similar articles based on the same person. If some lines and sentences are the same they could indicate that the article is based on valid and verifiable sources. I please beg for other editors to compare both article and verify it;before my contributions goes to waste Itumeleng Kingsley (talk) 12:24, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
At the time of requesting the speedy deletion, the article was verbatim copy of the online source, with the exception of one single sentence which had been slightly reworded. We take a very strict line with copyright violations, for the simple reason that they are against the law. And once this violation has been discovered, you should at least own up to it and undertake not to repeat it, but instead you are arguing that it wasn't a violation at all. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:33, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to make edits with misleading or inaccurate edit summaries, even if unintentional, you may be blocked from editing. I have told you before that you should leave edit summaries, and when you do, they need to be accurate and representative of your edit, and certainly not misleading. Please pay more attention to this. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:22, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements.
