Recent edit reversion

[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. ~~~~ S Philbrick(Talk) 12:42, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi Indonesianinfo2. Thank you for your work on 2015 Denpasar mayoral election. Another editor, Yoblyblob, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Hi! I marked the page as reviewed, but it could do with more sources. I could find some through searches, so adding a little source for each candidates is an easy way to do this and establish notability

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from id:Ni_Luh_Djelantik to Ni Luh Djelantik. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:

NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at :fr:Exact name of French article; see its history for attribution.

Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted translated page template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 13:04, 1 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in I Wayan Pandu Prapanca Lagosa, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Keep in mind:

 • To link other wikis, never use normal wikilinks (eg.: :id:I Wayan Artha Dipa); use Template:ill instead (eg.: I Wayan Artha Dipa).
 • Never use dd-mm-yyyy date formats, use yyyy-mm-dd dates or spell them out instead (eg.: 22 February 2002)

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Bangli Regency Regional House of Representatives did not have an edit summary. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary, or by discussion on the Talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. When logged in to your Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by cutting its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into List of deputy speakers of Jakarta Regional House of Representatives. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. I've gone ahead and requested the history merge. LightlySeared (talk) 21:34, 11 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

[edit]

You need to stop trying to file articles in redlinked categories that don't exist to have articles filed in them. Pages are not allowed to be filed in categories that don't exist, and are only allowed to be filed in categories that exist — but I had to fix a couple of dozen redlinked categories this morning that you added to pages in the past couple of days, and I see that you're already trying to add more redlinked categories to pages.

So let me be clear: do not add pages to redlinked categories that don't exist, as there can be consequences for disruption if you don't follow the rules. Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 19:02, 1 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

How to know the categories are exist or not? Indonesianinfo2 (talk) 19:08, 1 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
(1) Check first, like anybody who was thinking about it would know without having to be told.
(2) If it's blue, it exists. If it's red, it doesn't.
(3) If you accidentally do save a page with a redlinked category on it, then it's your job to fix or remove that redlinked category immediately. Bearcat (talk) 14:27, 5 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad

[edit]

You need to wp:cite an wp:rs that Rani Mauliani is Sufmi Dasco Ahmad's sister in law. This is especially required for wp:BLPs. Adakiko (talk) 18:36, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for replacing that info and including a citation. With foreign-language titles, please add an English translation? You can add it to a cite web (or other similar template) with the "|trans-title=" field. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 19:32, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to List of chairpersons of the NasDem Party. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Problem ethnict provinces of Indonesia

[edit]

Aman, paling saya hanya sederhanakan saja ya Baqotun0023 (talk) 11:03, 27 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
mantaplah kalau gitu, oh ya jangan lupa bang buat lagi DPRD provinsi setiap provinsi dan lambang setiap provinsi udah bagus aku tengok abang ngikuti caraku untuk Coat of arms nya👍 Indonesianinfo2 (talk) 11:05, 27 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Non-attributed translations & Edit summaries

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from id:Daftar Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat to List of speakers of the West Java Regional House of Representatives.

Thank you.

I noticed that the invalid access-date parameters I recently commented out on List of speakers of the West Java Regional House of Representatives are identical, and equally incorrect, on id:Daftar Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat as it didn't exist on those dates either. This brings into questions the RELIABILITY of any information found on these pages, if they are not being read when cited and only copied from somewhere else.

In addition, I would like to reiterate, as mentioned by another editor above, the importance of providing EDIT SUMMARIES.

Administrators' noticeboard report

[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The topic is Unattributed page translations by Indonesianinfo2 . Orxenhorf (talk) 08:39, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Bang bang itu bahas apa ya? Apakah artikel saya nanti baik2 saja? Indonesianinfo2 (talk) 08:58, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I am talking about the multiple user warning messages that have appeared on this talk page regarding providing attribution on translated pages, none of which you responded to in any way. There is a list with detail on the ANI discussion. You should be responding there. What happens to any articles, or what actions you'll need to do to fix the attribution issues, will be the decision of the administrators. Orxenhorf (talk) 20:28, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. To be clear, you need to engage here > Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Unattributed_page_translations_by_Indonesianinfo2. I have removed your ability to create new pages until you do so, which is unfortunate, but you are not responding to multiple requests and warnings on this page. Black Kite are you block me to create article? that small error what did i do? what is this? Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia please delete there is no time limit i will improve my article creation and be more careful to create new articles because i used AI now so more fast and safe, Please Kite, I haven't finished my task to create Regional House of Representatives in all provinces in Indonesia, that's all 🙏, Indonesianinfo2 (talk) 04:21, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, the English Wikipedia community has no interest in AI-created articles on Wikipedia, so that would not be an improvement at all. If your English fluency is not sufficient to communicate constructively with English speakers, your best way to contribute to the Wiki movement would be to continue to participate at Indonesian Wikipedia, which I am assuming is your native language. English Wikipedia is simply one language version, and probably the one that least needs help. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 14:50, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Especially for making articles because my task is not yet complete to make several more articles for regional house of representatives

Decline reason:

Not only does this not address the reasons for the pblock this was appealing, but the fact is that since then you have continued to evidence that - put frankly - you don't have sufficent ability to contribute in English to contribute here without being disruptive, but - more concerning - you have attempted to recruit editors as proxies to evade that pblock. Therefore I have converted your block to a full indef block. I would suggest you contribute on other Wikimedia projects and work on your ability to contribute in English, and take the standard offer. - The Bushranger One ping only 21:00, 1 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:YilevBot per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/YilevBot. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: Your reason here ~~~~. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

I forget to use template
to my whole account but actually I understand to Wikipedia's policy on using multiple account and never do a vandalism when editing + i have read Guide to appealing so that the block is no longer necessary because i understand what i are blocked for, i will not do it again, and i will make productive contributions instead, this account is my main account.

Decline reason:

This block isn't just about a forgotten template. The reason for it is that you were not only found to be operating other accounts (Pascol Escobar and Babung2211 ) simultaneously, but also that you have been evading blocks on a whole plethora of accounts, going all the way back to YilevBot. Unless you are able to address this fully and satisfactorily, you will not be unblocked. --Blablubbs (talk) 15:35, 7 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I understand but I will contribute well this time the previous account made many annoying edits and without sources because at that time I didn't know how to use Wikipedia and forget all of pasword so always make new account without template alternative account, but now i very understand to use it well, and formerly everything has been resolved with the admins deleting my annoying edits and now by Izno + deleted all of my creations of page, i will not do it again, and i will make productive contributions instead, so please sir give it a chance for this timie 🙏 I Forget the Yilevbot pasword and that account lost from my nokia phone so can't try to login to that account again

Request reason:

Dear administrators,

I would like to sincerely acknowledge my past actions and the use of multiple older accounts that violated Wikipedia's policies. I fully recognize that these actions were destructive and went against the collaborative and transparent spirit of this project.

I deeply regret my past misuse of accounts and sincerely apologize to the community for the disruption I caused. I understand the seriousness of these violations and take full responsibility for my behavior.

Today, I come with the intention to change. I want to improve myself and contribute positively to the Wikipedia community. My goal is to make constructive edits, follow community guidelines, and help build this encyclopedia in good faith.

I am committed to listening to feedback, engaging in open and respectful discussions, and accepting any guidance or correction when I make mistakes. I understand that trust must be rebuilt through consistent, positive actions, and I am willing to do the work required.

Thank you for considering my request.

Sincerely, Indonesianinfo2

Decline reason:

This is all good to hear, but you didn't write it. We want to hear from you, not from an AI. But really, if you want to help Wikipedia, the best thing you can do would be to edit on id-wiki, where you are not blocked, and which is so much smaller than en-wiki. You could translate articles from English, if you wanted to practice your language skills.

Please consider taking the standard offer and returning in the future. Do not make any more accounts. asilvering (talk) 03:31, 8 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you for the response.

I understand your concern, and you're right — the previous statement wasn't fully in my own words. I apologize for that. I'm writing this now genuinely as myself.

I still really want to return to editing on English Wikipedia. I know I’ve made mistakes in the past, and I regret the sockpuppeting and other issues that led to my block. I’m not trying to evade responsibility — I fully acknowledge my past actions, and I’m trying to turn things around.

I’ve been active on Indonesian Wikipedia recently, contributing constructively and improving articles. I enjoy translating content from English to Indonesian, and I want to do the reverse too — help bring more Indonesian topics to English Wikipedia in a meaningful and respectful way.

If given a second chance, I’ll strictly follow all policies and only use one account. I won’t repeat the same mistakes. I’m also open to any guidance or conditions you think are necessary for my return.

Thanks again for your time and consideration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Indonesianinfo2 (talkcontribs) 03:39, 8 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
