- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Adding links to articles
[edit]I see that some of your edits have added links from one article to another, known as "wikilinks". Wikilinks can be very helpful, but it is a very common mistake among new editors to add too many wikilinks to articles. Generally speaking, a wikilink should be added only if it provides information which is likely to help readers of the article in which the link is placed to understand content of that article, or provide further information closely connected to content of that article. Linking to articles in other situations is not just unnecessary, it can actually be harmful, because research has established that the more irrelevant, or only slightly relevant, links there are in a page, the less likely readers are to find the ones which they might find useful. Thus, for example, nobody reading the article Pankaj Dubey is likely to need to consult the article novelist in order to understand what "novelist" means, nor does the article novelist contain any information about Pankaj Dubey, so linking the one to the other is not likely to be helpful.JBW (talk) 10:42, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
- I understand your thinking and I politely apologise for my recent rather disruptive contributions. I will try to get better at editing. I am a new editor, not a professional one. Thank you. - HQIQ talk 07:38, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
June 2025
[edit] Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Alibaba Group. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Stop rapidfire copyediting articles immediately out of the gate, please. You're mostly adding peculiar errors. Remsense 🌈 论 03:37, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Remsense, I don’t get what you mean. I apologise politely if my editing could be counted disruptive, but can you please explain your reasons. HQIQ talk 07:40, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
- They just aren't improvements: your reasons for why they would be are not the case in each instance. That's why I'm asking that you slow down, and maybe skim our Manual of Style if you haven't already. Remsense 🌈 论 03:40, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
- OK. It’s my fault. I’m sorry that I have constantly been doing disruptive edits. I will try to slow down, and do more improved edits and major constructive changes rather than disruptive. HQIQ talk 07:40, 20 August 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Up Fuel Australia
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Up Fuel Australia, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 20:40, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. For my next, I will try to have a more neutral tone. StopLookingAtMe1 (talk) 07:16, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
“I suspect you.”? There’s really no point to that. Either report them to the appropriate notice board, with the relevant evidence, or leave it alone. If they’re up to something, they don’t need extra notice that we’re on to them. If they’re not up to something, then you’ve needlessly cast aspersions on a good-faith editor. In this case, they were someone whose activities I’m quite familiar with, I had already reported that account at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Khyberboypk, and they have been duly blocked. Case closed for now. --Finngall talk 15:31, 19 July 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Lynbrook Primary School
[edit]Hello, StopLookingAtMe1,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Uncle Bash007, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Lynbrook Primary School, for deletion, because it is a very short article that doesn't provide readers with enough context to determine who or what the subject is.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Uncle Bash007}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on The Politics Book requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
