I'm surprised that this fairly important article has no citations. Please add reliable sources. Bearian (talk) 16:41, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please add reliable sources. If nobody wants to work on it, then I'll try in November. Bearian (talk) 06:44, 23 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please add inline citations and better quality sources. Bearian (talk) 02:22, 29 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

New editor needs watching

[edit]

Is this a good place to request eyeballs on a brand new editor (4 edits as of 8 November) who may be motivated by antisemitism? He does not (so far) appear to be a candidate for an Arbcom a-i WP:CTOP {{Alert}}. Please see ~2025-32022-68 (talk Âˇ contribs) and watch going forward, if you are able. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 09:28, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Could you help to disambiguate links to Jewish theology please? It is generally better for readers to link to specific articles rather than disambiguation pages. You can identify them by going to your "preferences" via the drop down list - top right of your screen, and choosing "Preferences" and then the tab for "Gadgets", You then scroll down to "Appearance" and putting a tick next to "Display links to disambiguation pages in orange". There are currently 47 links shown at Dablink list for Jewish theology. Any help appreciated.— Rod talk 08:37, 11 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone please expand and translate this from the Hebrew article? Bearian (talk) 11:33, 11 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please add reliable sources. Bearian (talk) 02:46, 14 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

What do you think about [1]? tgeorgescu (talk) 19:44, 23 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Tgeorgescu The mental heath claims are definitely not "unsourced" and have other reliable sources like The Forward. Replacing it with primary sources about his teachings is making it worse. I would definitely revert. Yeshivish613 (talk) 20:08, 23 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Yeshivish613: Well, I'm by no means knowledgeable about Rabbinic Judaism, and I don't think I have the skill and energy to argue about this issue. tgeorgescu (talk) 20:18, 23 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm also not so familiar with Breslov but I noticed it just looks like someone removing claims about his rabbi because they don't look good and wrongly bringing in WP:DUE. Either way I reverted it myself and will keep an eye on the page, thank you for bringing it to my attention here. Yeshivish613 (talk) 19:21, 24 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Catholic Church and race

[edit]

Wikipedia's article on the Catholic Church and race begins with this whopper: "The foundational break between Christianity and Rabbinic Judaism on human beings is that since the Incarnation of Jesus Christ, the new covenant with God is based not on the concept of a tribal, hereditary definition of a chosen people by blood which excludes gentiles ("the nations"), but on faith and belief, accessible to all of the races of man (in following with Galatians 3:28)." Can we remove this entirely? It is currently unsourced. The main photo's description and the second paragraph repeat this false and antisemitic theme and puts the term antisemitism itself in scare quotes when referring to the Spanish Inquisition.
