Shabbos Kestenbaum
[edit]Hello, I hope you're having a great day. I noticed that Shabbos's article was updated to list him as a Democrat. However, after watching several videos of him speaking at the Republican National Convention, it appears that he may have shifted political affiliations. I just wanted to check if there's any additional information or clarification available, as I'm a bit confused by the change.
Thanks 104.188.22.218 (talk) 17:05, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hi there, thanks for your interest in keeping Wikipedia accurate. The sources clearly state that he has always been registered as a Democrat, and when he spoke at the Republican convention he was only doing it as they had provided a platform for him to speak and would have been happy to speak at the Democratic convention as well had he been asked.[1] At the time he was not even planning to vote for Trump.[2]
- Having said that, I have removed the party field from his infobox, as it looks like the field is intended for politicians and not for simply being registered with a specific party. Thank you again for raising this point. Yeshivish613 (talk) 18:07, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
