[edit] You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia. Your continued ignorance of warnings has become alarming. Continuing to add unsourced content, or to act against sourced content, is not appropriate. livelikemusic (TALK!) 17:53, 7 April 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. livelikemusic (TALK!) 14:31, 16 May 2025 (UTC)

[edit] This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Considering your previous block, and your continued editing behaviours, this is your final warning; next step will be taken to the proper noticeboard. livelikemusic (TALK!) 20:43, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

. asilvering (talk) 22:40, 11 July 2025 (UTC)- Hello
- I apologise for any inconvenience here, however I was just wondering what your specific reasons were for blocking my ability to edit articles. The official notice on my page states that I was blocked indefinitely for “persistent unsourced edits & lack of communication”. From my understanding, when I made the edits that lead to me being blocked, I was following Wikipedia guidelines by sourcing my edits. It was never my intention to deliberately vandalise the page. Can I ask what lead to you to block me, just so I know where exactly I was going wrong when adding sources to my edits? Verdammter (talk) 17:58, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
- @Verdammter, I'll let @Livelikemusic explain the issues with the content of your edits. Regarding the lack of communication, you've had many warnings on this talk page and yet this is the only time you've ever posted here yourself. You don't use edit summaries, and have only posted on any other talk page once in your entire history, and never on Talk:Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. When other editors express concerns with your editing, you need to communicate with them to address them. I'll happily lift this block once you do so with @Livelikemusic and commit to doing so in the future. -- asilvering (talk) 18:13, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hello
- I wasn’t aware of the fact that edits needed to commented on the article’s talk page upon update, and I will do this in future if necessary. I will also give brief edit summaries when I do edit pages if it allows for clearer communication between myself and editors, to avoid repeated issues. As for not responding to warnings, I can only apologise for that, as it came down to issues on my end where Wikipedia wouldn’t format edits right no matter how I tried to follow the layout set by other editors, and then it wouldn’t allow me to get to the stage of adding adequate sources, so I’d end up leaving the page for a while and then go back into it, where the warnings were left. I didn’t act on them at the time as I felt that there was little that I could do about them, since it seemed to be issues with my account’s edit formatting. I realise in hindsight that I should’ve communicated more via the talk page, and I am sorry for not doing that. Verdammter (talk) 18:31, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
- You don't need to go to the talk page about every edit you make, don't worry about that. But you do need to respond when editors have concerns about the edits, like when they're unsourced. You can always ask questions at WP:TEA if you're struggling with any part of wikipedia editing - that's much better than leaving unsourced edits half-finished. I'll unblock, though. Happy editing. -- asilvering (talk) 18:47, 22 July 2025 (UTC)

- No offense, but you have persistently either added unsourced content, misused an already placed inline citation as a "source" for your content when that citation does not include the information you're insistent on adding, or misrepresented a source as a citation for your original research of information. And on the rare oft-case it is sourced, the citation format is wrong and placed improperly into the article. On July 8, you made this edit, which was not only improperly cited ({{Cite news}} should be used for newspapers) and it also did not at all state what you included in the edit (WP:NOR violation). In this edit (on July 11), you chose a citation (which had nothing to do with what you were claiming) to add two additional concerts. Not to mention, the reference name violated WP:REFNAME, which says to avoid picking a name that someone else is likely to choose for a new citation, such as
":0"
or"NYT"
. And citing WP:IGNORANCE regarding warnings is not a defense. Not once until the indefinite block from editing namespaces did you post on this talk page (which shows you can respond). You received warnings dating back to November 2024, and not once were they responded to, not even after receiving a 31-hour block in April. Ultimately, your continued addition of unsourced/improperly sourced materials, and your refusal to acknowledge warnings on this talk page led to the report which resulted in this block. And only upon this block you've come to the talk page to discuss. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:57, 22 July 2025 (UTC)- @Livelikemusic, please turn it down a notch. I understand that you're frustrated, but they're communicating now, so please communicate with them instead of yelling at them. -- asilvering (talk) 19:11, 22 July 2025 (UTC)

- I was not yelling, and please, do not ping me once I am already on a talk page, thank you. You asked me to explain the issues with their edits and I did just that upon grabbing examples of their edits, in connection with the issue(s). Again, as noted here, I was typing my response and only submitted once you made your decision and response, which did not show whenever I previewed in review of my response. livelikemusic (TALK!) 19:20, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Since returning from your block, you have made several errors in your editing. Both of your edits at Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour have contained errors (i.e., 08:29, 24 July 2025 and 08:44, 27 July 2025) In both edits, you have used the wrong citation format ({{Cite web}} instead of the proper {{Cite news}}), put the citations in the wrong location, violated MOS:DATEFORMAT (via MOS:BADDATE), and also have used improper formatting on the table. Please keep these things in mind for future editing. Thank you. livelikemusic (TALK!) 14:35, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hello,
- Can I ask you a couple of questions on this, just so we’re on the same page?
- What is the correct date format I should be using for references? I originally used the DD MM YY format (ie July 27 2025), as it was the only format that would be accepted by the editor. However, upon looking at the Date Formatting Guidelines I saw that YY-MM-DD (ie 2025-07-27) was suggested as a format for referencing. I used that in my most recent reference, however I was just wondering if I should’ve used a different format?
- Where should citations be located on the article? I put my references at the top of the Tour Dates table as I’m currently not certain as to where they should go, other than there. Is there a specific location on the article for specific date references, other than there or the references section at the bottom of the page?
- I apologise for any inconvenience caused, and thank you for reading this. Verdammter (talk) 22:53, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
- Full date formats should be used (ex:
27 July 2025
for DMY pages/July 27, 2025
for MDY pages) to remain consistent with WP:CITEVAR. And the references go into the article's prose, not above/within the table, as if you were to read the hidden note above the table, it reads: All dates, cities, countries and venues are verified above in the "Background and development" section. Any additional information should be sourced above prior to being added in this section; any information added that is not sourced will be removed, per WP:Verifiability and WP:Citing sources. livelikemusic (TALK!) 03:29, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
