I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to User talk:216.252.30.100— because it did not appear constructive. [edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Shared universe. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. ~ Rob13Talk 08:28, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Plainfield, Illinois: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 19:02, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Pending changes reviewer granted

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Rollback

[edit]

Hi. Just wondering if you are aware of the so-called rollback tool that lets you revert edits with a single click. It might be helpful to your counter-vandalism work. Cheers, <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 21:12, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Just a tip

[edit]

Hi there, just wanted to give you a tip about a guideline you might not be aware of. Whenever you revert vandalism, be sure to leave a warning on the vandal's talk page. Take a look at that link and familiarize yourself with the templates at your disposal. bibliomaniac15 04:48, 10 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your vandalism reversions

[edit]

Hello, thank you for your efforts to remove vandalism from Wikipedia. However, when you do this, please make sure you follow the instructions at Help:Reverting. I had to fix up your revert at Bread. Also, after reverting vandalism, there should be no difference between the old edit and the new one; This was not the case with your edit to Bill Clinton sexual misconduct allegations. I checked a few more and they seem fine, however. Graham87 07:43, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That is just why Rollback is a vandal-fighter's best friend. Or Twinkle, too. The revert functions in that rolls back every single edit made by a user. So much easier, so much quicker. If you want to know more, you can always join the CVUA. <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 17:32, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

User page creation

[edit]

Hi there, I'm an administrator on the English Wikipedia. Why did you create this user's user page? I don't see any indication that they asked you to do that. Editors are allowed to maintain their own user pages and you shouldn't create or edit them without a reason to do so. Some people prefer having a blank user page. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:17, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't know about that. It was kind of an accident. I kinda got mixed up and confused there, sorry. Superchunk22 06:25, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

My edit to A-1Pictures was correct. Did you not do any research about it? It's real OblivionWingTech (talk) 10:52, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Well, first of all, why don't you cite your sources to prove that your edit is correct? Second, the article Shelter: The Animation doesn't exist, so I had a hard time believing that the edit was true at that point. If you can prove that your edit is correct by citing your sources, then I will leave it alone. Superchunk22 16:54, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

[edit]

Hello, Superchunk22. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:YT and general editing principles, please don't provide links to potential copyright violations as you have done here. It's highly questionable that "random stuffs" is the copyright holder of that content. If you don't know, err on the side of "it's probably a copyright violation." As for the article, a previous deletion discussion was held in 2010 and the result was to delete. If you think the article should exist, you will need to adequately demonstrate that the subject has received significant coverage from independent reliable sources. See WP:NOTABILITY and WP:GNG. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:21, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reindeer alert

[edit]

Hello! I wanted to give you a friendly heads-up: Santa Claus's reindeer get's hit pretty hard this time of year, and nearly all the edits are either vandalism or violating consensus. The one you accepted yesterday was one of the latter. If you're ever unsure about the accepted spelling of various reindeer, just look at the commented-out text in the code. It includes a reminder of the original spellings (weird as we may find them now).

And welcome to the world of edit-reviewing in the month of December! Cheers —jameslucas (" " / +) 03:17, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Peter Rabbit (2018 film)

[edit]

There is a draft article in progress at Draft:Peter Rabbit (film). Normal procedure is to work on the draft article then move it to article space once principal photography has been confirmed (not just planned) to have actually started per WP:NFF. Peter Rabbit (2018 film) is the wrong location for the article as well and will be changed to a redirect to proper film article location, the article needs to be at Peter Rabbit (film) when it is created. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on The Star (2017 film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. You need to include a citation a reliable source that says Columbia is producing and/or distributing those films. For example, Variety Insight, which is heavily cited already in the article. Posters, trailers, and other primary sources are generally not considered reliable per this consensus. This is to prevent people from guessing based on logos that appear on promotional material. The article The Addams Family (upcoming film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NFILM. Too soon.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, Superchunk22. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Hullabaloo".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. » Shadowowl | talk 12:20, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Apaches Entertainment

[edit]

Hello, Superchunk22. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Apaches Entertainment".

» Shadowowl | talk 13:22, 9 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2018 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Superchunk22. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Glitch Techs moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Glitch Techs, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
