Wikipedia and copyright
[edit] Hello KriGal! Your additions to Yerevan Lake have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license—to request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § Licensing.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tenshi! (Talk page) 15:36, 13 July 2025 (UTC)

Your article Հումսեր (արաժան, ռեժան)
[edit] Welcome, and thank you for contributing the page Հումսեր (արաժան, ռեժան) to Wikipedia. While you have added the page to the English version of Wikipedia, the article is not in English. We invite you to translate it into English. It has been listed at Pages needing translation into English, but if it is not translated within two weeks, the article may be listed for deletion. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 10:51, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Հումսեր (արաժան, ռեժան)
[edit]Hello KriGal,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Joseywales1961, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Հումսեր (արաժան, ռեժան), for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at Hummus. Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Joseywales1961}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

- Dear Josey Wales, Thank you for your message. This article is not about Hummus. Hummus is dish made from chickpeas whereas Humser (which trabslates from Armenian Raw Cream) is an Armenian dairy product and has nothing to do with Hummus. I therefore ask you to keep the article. I will translate and create its English version to clear any confusion with Hummus. Thank you very much. Best regards, Kristina KriGal (talk) 13:16, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hello @KriGal! Your article needs to be translated to English at earliest convenience, or it will be deleted per WP:A2. If you would like me to review your article after it has been translated, please let me know and I will happily do so! Thanks! 11WB (talk) 15:46, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
Հումսեր (արաժան, ռեժան) moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Humser (Armenian dairy product). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and require translation from Armenian to English. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. QEnigma 论 17:38, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia!
[edit]Hello, KriGal, and welcome to Wikipedia! While efforts to improve Wikipedia are always welcome, unfortunately your contributions are not written in an English that is good enough to be useful. You appear to be more familiar with Armenian; did you know there is a Wikipedia in Armenian? You may prefer to contribute there instead.
