You have asserted that a headshot of Joe Shiely Senior is your “own work”.  The image you uploaded is dated 30 November 2013[1]; according to your article on him, (Joe_Shiely_Sr), he died in 1972.

I have challenged your use of images in your article on John Hines (radio broadcaster) where you asserted as your own work ads from print media from the 1980s. I pinged you to the article's talk page and you did not reply.

Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and your reproduction of copyrighted images and content does not make you the owner of the work, nor make them your work, nor exempt them from copyright protection. Kablammo (talk) 23:38, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there- All of the companies involved in the advertisement are out of business. There are no claimants to the copyright left. I couldn't figure out what to put that under so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! KingBoreasVI (talk) 12:51, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Which print and electronic media are out of business? The news media and electronic media still exist. And if they have been absorbed or merged you cannot assume that the intellectual property rights are abandoned. And those rights may have been transferred by other means.
You should presume that images and text are protected by copyright unless and until the the contrary is shown, either by a grant of permission, or the appropriate lapse of time according to the relevant law. Kablammo (talk) 16:47, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple interviews with the subject about their expertise, quotes from other Wikipedia subjects talking about the importance of this person to their success in the podcast business, being at the forefront of a business and being at the top of the profession, quotes in books by the subject. You don't see much about podcast producers and this has almost 30 reliable sources. KingBoreasVI (talk) 21:37, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
