A Tear in the Fabric of Life moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to A Tear in the Fabric of Life. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and Bandcamp is not. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. scope_creepTalk 20:06, 15 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Influenced Combustion of Chromebooks

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Influenced Combustion of Chromebooks. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Chromebook challenge. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Chromebook challenge. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Fram (talk) 13:03, 16 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Haaayzey. Thank you for your work on Mea Culpa (Ah! Ça ira!). Another editor, Lorraine Crane, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Hello! Iplease add citations for your article from reliable independent sources. I would suggest checking into the Gojira(band) article. which does mention this album and has citations you maybe able to use. I also linked this article from the Gojira(band) article to prenvent possible orphan issues. Cheers!

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Lorraine Crane}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

@Lorraine Crane: Silly me! It completely slipped my mind to add references and inline citations! I have updated the page to include these missing citations! Please contact me if there are any other issues that need to be addressed! Haaayzey (talk) 13:22, 14 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Haaazey!, this is a good start, however after doing some spot checks on the citations you added, most seems to be passing mentions, please attempt to search for more significant coverage about the Single. and not about the band, otherwise this article may be Merged or Redirected to the Gojira article. You can check this Wikipedia article describing what Significant Coverage is about, Cheers!

August 2025

[edit]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to List of French people. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Graham87 (talk) 15:41, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

by the logic of this page name, we would be naming every human being that has ever been of French origin. it's too vague. Haaayzey (talk) 15:43, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
So is "List of notable XXX", because there is no exact definition of "notable". Use of such a term in titles is highly non-standard and goes against our naming conventions for lists. Graham87 (talk) 16:01, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
could we, in the distant future, try to find a fair compromise between the two? since neither title is exactly "correct" in a sense, I personally feel as though there's no reason to defend either of them. Haaayzey (talk) 16:09, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There's a good reason to defend the status quo; it complies with our long-standing naming conventions on lists, while your proposed title does not. Graham87 (talk) 17:24, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
if the 'naming conventions' support a title as vague as "list of French people", then there's a deeper issue. I can't be the only person who sees who absolutely ridiculously vague and basically incorrect the title is? if it's a list of French people then by that logic I should be on it. There needs to be some level of classification when referring to the people listed. Haaayzey (talk) 17:31, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
i'm aware that, as most people now would say, "it's not that deep". I just hate to see poor titles/work on this site. Haaayzey (talk) 17:36, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Also see my edit summary when I undid your move. If you're thinking of moving an established article, it's a good idea to check its move log (example in this case) to see if people have tried to move it before. Graham87 (talk) 15:41, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

List of solved missing person cases: 2020s

[edit]

Hey, I reverted the edit (Special:Diff/1307968036) you made to List of solved missing person cases: 2020s. I noticed that this was not the first time this case was attempted to be added to this particular list, although I am not sure if the earlier attempt was also you.

However, the details pertaining to this particular missing person case should be added to List of solved missing person cases: 1950–1999, as the date the individual went missing was in the year 1962.

I have not checked to see if this entry already exists in the appropriate list's table yet. I will allow you to make such edit if you wish. Or if you prefer, I can transfer the pertinent information accordingly and tag you in the edit summary to give proper attribution for the edit contents.

i wasn't aware that there was a previous addition attempt. I apologize for the inconvenience. I have since moved the section to the List of solved missing person cases: 1950-1999. Please let me know if there are any changes that need to be made to fit it to the section. I've noticed that the information amount differs between the more recent and older cases. A tag has been placed on File:Haaayzey User Image.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 03:09, 28 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Mea Culpa

[edit]

So, hey. I was reading the page you made about Mea Culpa (Ah! Ça ira!), and I'm a bit concerned. A lot of the content looks like it is AI generated, and I just wanna make sure that it isn't. I have tagged it as such for now, and I just want to make It clear that it's probably not a good idea to use AI for this kinda stuff (if you are using it). It often uses a lot of puffery, and can even make up facts. Just letting you know! Obviously, I'm not saying you 100% used AI, but if you didn't then do try to avoid puffery anyways, it's good practice. Gaismagorm (talk) 02:33, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate your concern! my grammar in English is not the best, so I use Microsoft copilot to make my words more legible and concise, but its only revisions. I do all my own research! Yours truly, Kenzie! <3 (talk) 04:42, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
