Nochmals: Übersetzung

[edit]

Vielen Dank! -  Gisbert ツ (talk Illustrate Wikipedia !   21:16, 27 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Das ist noch viel Arbeit. Grimes2 (talk) 22:04, 27 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Grimes2
Sieh ihm dir bitte einmal an! -  Gisbert ツ (talk Illustrate Wikipedia !   16:36, 30 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
ChatGPT liefert erstaunlich gute Resultate. @Gerda Arendt: Könnest Du noch mal drüber schauen. Grimes2 (talk) 19:28, 30 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Too tired for the whole thing, - just read Baroque. General advice: make small changes, each with it's reference, - not the whole thing at once which will almost certainly be reverted again. - Specifically:
  • I'd begin with the introduction, then list the few occurrences.
  • No need to link the Rameau genre when the piece has an article, - probably we can even drop it.
  • The last sentence reads as if Bach, Vivaldi and Handel made the arrangements.
  • It might be a god idea to give the pieces years - to compare to the introduction. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:22, 30 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Gerda Arendt, I have now added sources and links to the intended article (and also revised the passage about the Barok). I would be extremely grateful if you would also take a look at the rest of the post. -  Gisbert ツ (talk Illustrate Wikipedia !   14:50, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I'll look again and further but not today, - I have 3 GA reviews in progress, a bio to write and to prepare the turn of the month, + choir rehearsal. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:03, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I took a brief look at Baroque, and see no changes in the prose. I am confused by links to two different sandboxes. Please decide which is the one we should look at, and make all changes there. Earlier versions can still be seen from the history. Please do something about the four points above, add inline citations to the prose, and perhaps shorten the header(s), - just Baroque would probably work just fine for the first paragraph. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:09, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much, Gerda. The relevant text is here. It contains 39 sources, with almost every sentence supported by a reference. In the Baroque section, I added the year of composition for Rameau and reworded the last sentence. -  Gisbert ツ (talk Illustrate Wikipedia !   15:35, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I'll look at that Martin sandbox. I don't see changes for the four points above. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:38, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Gerda Arendt Hello Gerda, when do you think you will have time for the inspection? -  Gisbert ツ (talk Illustrate Wikipedia !   12:06, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Did you change for the four points? - Generally, I have little time. 3 articles of people who recently died on the main page right now, and it's unpredictable what will happen next. Please let me know when you make changes, don't expect me to look without a prompt. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:13, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I looked, you made changes. Please get the table into cosistency, - either all full sentences or all not. Why don't you first say whan the clarinet was introduced and then that therefore it's rare in Baroque. How about "especially of works by Bach ..."? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:16, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What do you think of moving this conversation to the talk page of the page in your user space? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:19, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

-  Gisbert ツ (talk Illustrate Wikipedia !   11:46, 18 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Tout est lumière --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:54, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Check out my talk: for a great woman's Johannes-Passion (listen!), our music in detail, and three people who recently died and are on the main page (where she isn't). My call for collaboration has the first "no", and the second - for the Easter Oratorio - seems inevitable. Thanks for trying. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:29, 18 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

My story is about music that Bach and Picander gave the world 300 years (and 19 days) ago, - listen (on the conductor's birthday) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:40, 20 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote my story today and then found it's the person's funeral day. Thank you for your help with Misereor! - I hated to see DYK for Johannes-Passion (Gubaidulina) today instead of Good Friday, but it seems also right in the context. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:04, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I finally managed to upload the pics I meant for Easter, see places. - Also finally, I managed a FAC, Easter Oratorio. I wanted that on the main page for Easter Sunday, but no, twice. You are invited to join a discussion about what "On this day" means, day or date. - Thank you for help with Misereor, - I had to jump RL, and when I returned a miracle had happened! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:32, 25 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
