Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by AlphaBetaGamma was:
This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

hi
I resubmitted on the 14th ... has it been rejected again? I do not know what it is i am doing wrong... Can you help point me in the right direction? I thought i followed the resubmission instructions correctly ...
Have i failed to complete something correctly?
Thank you,
all help appreciated. Dpatrick100 (talk) 19:35, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Dpatrick100 My comment was meant to be a helpful tip on how to improve the draft: I came across the draft and tried to review it, but because none of your sources are online I was unable to. It is likely most reviewers will not be able to review this draft with no online sources.
Your draft was successfully submitted for review, there are 600 submissions awaiting review, with more added every day, and only a small set of volunteers. With the lack of online sources it might be several months before a reviewer is able to properly review this draft. qcne (talk) 19:42, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
thank you for this comment ...I thought i had on line sources ... wondering what i am missing?
this is mostly from pre internet era ...
i have these on-line
== External links ==
i forgot to put this one in about the vinyl maze will add it
<ref>{{cite web |title=Vincent Lynch: books, biography, latest update |website=Amazon |url=https://ww
and these are all from recognized art critics with dates of newspaper publishing ...
i guess i will have to try to see if the sources are available somewhere --
  • Artweek (Judith Dunham)
  • San Francisco Chronicle (Alfred Frankenstein)
  • SFAI Exhibition notes
  • Video Librarian (Pitman review)
Again help is appreciated ...
when I finish this one I want to put two other painters from SF up as well. They are both dead so that will probably make it more difficult and on was an xpat in Amsterdam...
One is in major museum collections...hope they have better on line visibility from the 70's through 2000... Dpatrick100 (talk) 20:25, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Vincent A Lynch (July 17)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Paul W were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The content of this submission includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standard for inline citations. Please cite your sources using footnotes. For instructions on how to do this, please see Referencing for beginners. Thank you.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Please provide references that show significant coverage in reliable, independent, secondary sources (per WP:GNG) - the current draft does not suggest Lynch meets WP:ARTIST criteria. Multiple paragraphs are simply assertions without citations. And echoing a previous reviewer: citing Amazon links is somewhat promotional - are there better sources?
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
