About me

I've been an editor here since March 2023, but I've been reading the back end stuff since 2022. I do a whole bunch of different stuff - for example, reverting vandalism, writing and expanding articles, New Pages Patrol (mainly redirects), tracking sockpuppets, helping out at the dispute resolution noticeboard, tagging pages for speedy deletion and more. I sometimes read Wikipedia, find something that needs fixing in an article and fix it myself. Most of my content work is about South Korea and/or amusement parks (particularly rollercoasters), but I am also open to editing other stuff - after all, there's still a lot out there that I want to learn how to do. Regarding my editing philosophy, I believe in being bold, citing reliable sources, assuming good faith, being civil and countering systemic bias. Especially with regards to systemic bias, in my opinion one of the major sources of it on the English Wikipedia is the lack of coverage of non-US countries, so I try to contribute to Korean subjects as I can read/speak Korean. I also believe in new editor retention and strongly encourage good faith newcomers to contribute to this site - if you are new to Wikipedia and have questions about editing, feel free to ask me anytime.

I can speak English, Korean and Spanish (my Korean and Spanish is a bit rusty, especially in terms of writing however) - I will try to respond to messages in whatever language you send me a message in, but will occasionally reply in English as needed. However, if possible please leave messages on my talkpage in English because this is the English Wikipedia. If you wish to contact me in private, please feel free to email me or message me on the Wikimedia Discord server. Please keep in mind though that I may be busy in real life at times and occasionally may respond slower. I will respond to your message should you send me one, but it might just take a bit of time, so please be patient.
