Isn't the use of periods after initials standard in English, followed by spaces, to indicate that the letters "J" and "D" are abbreviations for his given names? For example, look at J. D. Salinger, J. K. Rowling, J. K. Simmons, or W. E. B. Du Bois. In the file for File:Hillbilly Elegy.jpg he is credited as "J. D. Please add a link to the article List of vice presidential trips made by JD Vance in the "Vice presidency (2025–present)" section of the JD Vance page. This would help integrate the trips article and remove its orphan status.
