The CD peaked at number 10 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart, Japan’s most prominent music ranking, and remained on the chart for nine weeks.[16] Including this performance, she has had four singles chart on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.[17][18][19]

She is currently affiliated with Apollo Bay, a talent agency under the Amuse Group.[20]

Career

[edit]

In 2017, Nochimoto received the Jury's Special Prize in the voice actor and artist audition "ANISONG STARS".[20]

In October 2018, she was selected as one of the eight founding members of the "Voitama Project", a training initiative for aspiring voice actor-artists.[21] She began appearing in online programs and other activities from 2019 onward.[22]

On April 1, 2020, all six members of the "Voitama Project", including Nochimoto, transferred from Amuse Inc. to Apollo Bay, a subsidiary of Live Viewing Japan and part of the Amuse Group.

Nochimoto made her voice acting debut in 2021, voicing Rea Uryu in Platinum End.[23] She gained further recognition in 2022 for her role as Yukimachi Tsukishiro in Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer.[24] In 2024, she voiced the lead character Rumi Jingūji in the anime Love Is Indivisible by Twins, and also performed the ending theme "Honey Citron" as a duet with Maaya Uchida.[25][26][27]

In addition to voice acting, Nochimoto has been active as a singer in the Pretty Cure series. In 2022, she performed the theme song "Yōkoso, Okosama♡Dreamia" for the animated film Delicious Party♡Pretty Cure: Yume Miru♡Okosama Lunch!, marking her debut in the series.[1][2][3][13][28] In 2024, she performed the ending theme "FUN☆FUN☆Wonderful DAYS!" (a duet with Ami Ishii) for Wonderful Pretty Cure!.[4][5][10][29][30] Since 2025, she has served as the lead vocalist for the theme song "♥DANZEN! kawaii! PetitCure♥," in the anime PetitCure: Precure Fairies, released on the franchise’s official YouTube channel, marking her participation in the franchise’s first full-scale YouTube-exclusive animated series.[31][32][14]

Nochimoto also appeared in several print features, beginning with a photo feature in My Girl vol. 36 (January 2023),[33] followed by a 16-page gravure spread in Young Dragon Age (March 2025 Extra Issue).[34]

Personal life

[edit]

Nochimoto enjoys drawing as a hobby.[20] She holds a first-degree black belt in aikido, which she lists as one of her special skills.[20] She is also fond of frogs, having kept them as pets in the past and owning a large collection of frog plush toys.[20] In an interview, Nochimoto stated that she had been a fan of the Pretty Cure franchise since childhood, and that her dream at the time was to become Cure Dream, a character from the series.[13]
