The World Destubathon

Hello. Project members are invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It will be held from Monday June 16 - Sunday July 13. There is $3338 going into it, with $500 the top prize. WikiGetTogether

Hi everyone. I wanted to highlight an event organised by Wikimedia Netherlands. The goal is for younger editors (younger than 30) to meet eachother, play some board games and discuss how we can encourage participation of the youth on Wikipedia. What books can I use if I want to learn sixteenth-century Dutch?

I found a Wikipedia article about Willem Usselincx (also, while we're here -- does that name warrant a pronunciation guide?), the promoter of the lesser-know Dutch West India Company. I live in the U.S. state of New York, and I would like to read his pamphlets as secondary founding documents and as context for the manorial system that we abolished in the 1840s.
