Animated TV series and movies must be in the period of debut and ending in the animated TV series, and in the date of premiere in the movies

      [edit]

All the TV animated series in all years of the list of animated TV series must be sorted in 2 chronological categories: By the date of debut and by the date of ending. Meanwhile the animated movies in all years of the list of animated movies must be sorted by the date of premiere chronological.

      American Dad Season 6

      [edit]

Im sure you have heard it before the episode listed season 7 episode 3 shows up on Hulu as season 6 episode 3 so please add a side note if possible as this makes it very hard to find right off as one tends to expect Wikipedia to be at least 90% accurate most of the time when it comes to television shows

There is an edit conflict I have been noticing in Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld with one user known only by their IP address removing the plot summaries of the final three episodes despite these summaries complying with MOS:PLOTLENGTH and MOS:TVPLOT, and they have failed to follow me up on their reasoning in removing them. I hope these concerns can be addressed. Thank you! JT0219 (talk) 20:54, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion on adding more characters from Maria-sama ga Miteru to LGBTQ+ characters page

      [edit]

Input is invited at here. I have added a few characters to the page, but I'm hoping to get more thoughts before adding any more to the List of animated series with LGBTQ characters: 2000–2004 page, since many of these characters, in this Class S & yuri series, are in "sisterly" relationships (i.e. soeurs) so I don't know if that would fall under a lesbian relationship or not. As such, I look forward to your comments. Historyday01 (talk) 19:03, 17 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The other old TV show FA that hasn't run is The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest but that article on first glance appears to be in better shape (it having a less enduring fanbase probably helps). Though I would like others to glance it over. Harizotoh9 (talk) 17:30, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

      Animator Credits

      [edit]

I'd like to add credits for animators to animated films, which can usually be found in the film's credits. This would be particularly useful for tracking the careers of notable character animators such as James Baxter, Andreas Deja, etc, who are often not even mentioned by name in the articles of their most notable works. Consider something like this, for The Lion King:

      Character Animation

      [edit]
Character Voice Actor Supervising Animator Animators
      Speaking Singing
Simba Young Jonathan Taylor Thomas Jason Weaver Mark Henn Tom Bancroft, Broose Johnson, T. Daniel Wofstedt, Danny Wawrzaszek
Adult Matthew Broderick Joseph Williams Ruben Aquino Randy Haycock, Joe Ekers, Michael Cedeno, Dale Baer, Lorna Cook
A young lion crown prince, the son of Mufasa and Sarabi, who grows up to become the king of the Pride Lands. Evan Saucedo also provided the cub's singing voice in "The Morning Report", a newly animated song which was added to the 2003 DVD Special Edition of The Lion King.
Scar Jeremy Irons Jeremy Irons & Jim Cummings Andreas Deja Doug Frankel, Jean Morel, Mark Koetsier, Alex Williams
Mufasa's younger brother and rival, and Simba's uncle, who plots to seize the throne of the Pride Lands. Jim Cummings partially provided Scar's singing voice for the song "Be Prepared".
Mufasa James Earl Jones Tony Fucile Phil Young, Chris Wahl, Brad Kuha
Simba's father, Scar's older brother, Sarabi's mate, and the king of the Pride Lands at the beginning of the film.
Nala Young Niketa Calame Laura Williams Aaron Blaise
Adult Moira Kelly Sally Dworsky Anthony Derosa Bob Bryan, Gilda Palinginis
Simba's childhood best friend, who later becomes his mate and the queen of the Pride Lands.
Timon Nathan Lane Michael Surrey Brian Ferguson, James Lopez, Mike Show
A wise-cracking meerkat who becomes one of Simba's best friends.
Pumbaa Ernie Sabella Tony Bancroft Ron Husband, Tim Allen, Dave Pruiksma
A naïve warthog who is Timon's best friend. He also becomes one of Simba's best friends.
      Rafiki Robert Guillaume James Baxter
An old mandrill who serves as the shaman of the Pride Lands and ceremonially presents the newborn cubs of the King and Queen to the gathered animals.
Zazu Rowan Atkinson Ellen Woodbury Randy Cartwright, Barry Temple, Michael Swofford
An uptight hornbill who serves as the majordomo to the King of the Pride Lands. Jeff Bennett provided Zazu's singing voice in "The Morning Report", a newly animated song sequence which was added to the 2003 DVD Special Edition of The Lion King.
      Sarabi Madge Sinclair Russ Edmonds
Mufasa's mate, Simba's mother, and leader of the lioness hunting party, as well as the queen of the Pride Lands at the beginning of the film.
Hyenas Shenzi Whoopi Goldberg David Burgess, Alex Kuperschmidt Rejean Bourdages, Greg S. Manwaring, Ken Boyer, Lou Dellarosa, Larry White
      Banzai Cheech Marin
      Ed Jim Cummings
The three leaders of a clan of spotted hyenas, and allies of Scar who participate in his plot in the death of Mufasa. Shenzi is the sassy and short-tempered female leader of the trio. Banzai is an aggressive and hot-headed hyena prone to complaining and acting on impulse. Ed is a dimwitted hyena who does not talk, only communicating through laughter.
