Oppose. Personally, I feel it should be kept as is. "Hellaverse" is such an obscure name for the shared franchise and only fans of the show call it that. It will be much easier to understand and find for general audiences who only need a base understanding of the show, which is what the article provides. • Oppose First of all, moving it to a non-list name is blatantly against policy. It's clearly and obviously a list, so I'd like to hear the rationale for changing it. The name it should be moved to, if it is moved, is List of Hellaverse characters. Secondly, there is no page on the "Hellaverse", so it would confuse readers. If it becomes notable enough for a standalone article on the fictional universe, I would have no qualms at that point. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 08:26, 11 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  The rationale as I have stated in the OP, is that it is consistent with the list pages Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Characters of the DC Extended Universe. As for Hellaverse not having a page yet (1) there is currently a draft for it (2) if enough reliable sources are now referring to the shared universe and media franchise as "Hellaverse", I do not think said page needs to be made first in order to rename the universe to what it is commonly known as.   But it's not. Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is clearly NOT a list, it's a prose article with links to actual lists, which are properly named "List of..."

  As shown with its split sections Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: A–L and Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: M–Z, the original page of Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a list, it just had to be split off due to WP:SIZE.   Well, I would argue that the pages are improperly named, then. They should be List of Marvel Cinematic Universe characters: A–L, etc., as they are a textbook list without any prose. • Oppose per Zxcvbnm, but also the fact that the OP's rationale is illogical and the sources they picked do not support their contention. This is a list and should stay a list. Besides. I'd need a LOT of sources to show that Hellaverse is a common name here, more than just a few stray sources. I am not convinced it is the common name in line with existing Wikipedia rules. • Oppose per Zxcvbnm and Historyday01. If it looks like a list, it should be named as a list. The MCU article shared for comparison has a very different format from this list. The DCEU list/article is more similar but is an outlier, in any case.
