Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Abdullah Mason, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Huntington Center. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Good work on Štefan Vojčák Ktkvtsh (talk) 01:51, 9 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi XLM Boi, Good day, pls note that your edits on the above page have been reverted as the sources are not reliable. Please do not use social media, educational websites, government websites, personal websites, or private companies as sources, including the UFC, as they are not considered reliable. Instead, please use new papers and MMA (media) reliable sources such as MMA Fighting, MMA Junkie, Cageside Press, MMA News, Sherdog, and others for sources. You are welcome to add the info if you can find independent (not associate, related to the subject ), reliable sources for verification. Stay safe. Cassiopeia talk 00:02, 1 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Cassiopeia. Thank you for the heads up. I was not aware that they were not reliable. I will try my best to avoid that from now on. Sincerely, XLM Boi XLM Boi (talk) 00:12, 1 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi XLM Boi, Good day. I have reverted your edit of the page above as FightBook MMA is not a reliable source for viewers/fans contribute to some of their content, and the site also does not have a fact-checking factor in place. Please use the media that I have listed in the UFC Fight Night 258 message above on your talk page. Cassiopeia talk 23:09, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I also noticed my edit was reverted from the same page, even though I used the UFC website as a reliable page, unless it isn't. If it isn't that is my apologies. -XLM Boi XLM Boi (talk) 23:11, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at UFC on ESPN: Albazi vs. Taira, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Cassiopeia talk 23:10, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi XLM Boi, again please read the initial message, UFC is not a reliable nor independent source as it is a private company and it related to the fight/fighter. Pls do not use the source. Also, we don not use ESPN for UFC fights as well. ESPN is a reliable source but they have 7 year contact with UFC for such the source is considered not independent. The contract is coming to an end this year and if UFC partner with other brocaster then we can use ESPN once the contract came to an end. Cassiopeia talk 23:14, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Now I am aware of what I can or can not use. Thank you. Once again, I will try my best to avoid these mistakes. XLM Boi (talk) 23:16, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Saudi Arabian male boxers indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 19:01, 2 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi XLM Boi. Thank you for your work on Artur Sowiński. Another editor, Bastun, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

With the exception of the first entry, the whole of the 'MMA career' section is undated, just "His next fight was two months later" and similar. This means a lot of context is lost. Please add dates to the prose.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Bastun}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Non-attributed translations

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from pl:Tomasz Sarara to Tomasz Sarara. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:

NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.

Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Agent 007 (talk) 18:45, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Agent VII I never really realized that I translated it from the Polish language page. I was just looking for some sources, but I never realized that it was actually translated. Every word I wrote I thought of on my own. If that is the case, I did not know that and I apologize. XLM Boi (talk) 18:48, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the D'Margio Wright-Phillips article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 18:04, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Tobiasz Zarzeczny has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The content and sources of this subject only consist of database information, and following a search for reliable sources, I could not find anything that defines this person's notability (see WP:GNG and WP:SPORTBASIC).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Alex26337 (talk) 06:55, 11 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
