I have not done anything malicious, I have followed the guidelines for the use of non free images, including placing detailed rationale on why the image I uploaded should be utilised, as per the rules listed in the upload wizard. I have spent a great deal of time organizing, correcting, expanding and standardizing articles and entries for various Princely States in Gujarat. My actions have been purely aimed at improving, expanding and standardizing the information present. Request reason:
The reason for my permanent block is in my opinion overly harsh and unnecessary, as I have not engaged in any kind of vandalism, have not insulted anyone, have not sent malicious texts or links, a single dispute over the applicability of a single uploaded potentially non free image, one which is also completely safe for work and does not feature the likeness of any person, resulting in a permanent site wide block seems overly harh and in my opinion unreasonable. Even if I may agree I got personally irked by the situation, due to having pored over a large segment of documents, in order to be able to find this particular image, and I am willing to accept some responsibility here and admit I could have approached the matter with a cooler head, I have not acted in any kind of terrible way, where I would have fling insults and gone completely off the handle. I may be sorry for having caused all this bother, and I am, but I don't think this is a proportionate response...
I have uploaded said image in good faith and in accordance to policies both in the upload wizard and in the policy I was directly sent. The image was of historical and geographic significance and in fact a different section of it is already used as a non free image on a different page. I have not committed any gross or indecent or excessive violations, so I do ot agree that I should be blocked permanently.

I do not believe there is any sufficient cause for permanently blocking my use of the size, as I have merely uploaded a non lewd, non obscene cartographic image for the sake of providing more detailed information into a series of articles I planned (and still hope) to make as part of a larger scale reorganization of the topic, which has been very disorganized and inconsistent before I started to try and improve it.
I have not done anything malicious, at most I have reverted the use of the image on one page after having updated the description in the way I was directed at the time, which I do not think constitutes any kind of vandalism and does not in my opinion deserve a permanent size wide block. I understand I have made a mistake in uploading the above, but it was a genuine mistake. I would gladly work to try and figure out some sort of solution that, in the best case scenarip, would hopefully allow some kind of geographic representation of the area in question to exist, while also upholding all relevant policies. I wasn't able to initiate the discussion in the talk page of the image as suggested above as I was blocked at the time. I really am passionate about overhauling the current information we have on the site, and to work to fill in the gaps from available sources, especially for all the princely states and other political entities connected to the region of Gujarat, which have yet to be covered or which have missing information. I do want to help and don't mind doing so if I could be allowed a chance to show that I never intended to do anything to upet anyone, and I am sorry if I did react too strongly before. In addition to the above I have written above on June 5th, I have also reached out to the proprietor of the website which had contained the original image the longest to try and find it's proper attestation and lineage, and I have emails confirming the image had been used on the website for ca. 20 years, predating my erroneous attestation of the image to a different website, and I wanted to correct that. http://www.indiastaterevenues.com/Templates/kathiaw.html is the website in question, but sadly the proprietor no longer remembers where the image came from originally, which may mean the image itself had become orphaned, as it's origin seemingly cannot be ascertained, even using reverse image search through Google. I have evidence throught he wayback Machine showing this image has been used on the indian revenue website since at least July 2004.
