Overstubbed

I could not think of a better way to type it but all I mean by over stubbed is there is a hierarchy, if an item falls in a subcategory for example of Ireland you do not not stub it both as an Ireland topic and an "Ireland structure" topic at the same time. The more specific category is listed in the larger categories... that's all I mean, and I wish you very well in your work here. Goldenrowley 23:35, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again, I took specific look at your article "György Kepes" you refer to see what I was thinking on that item in particular and think it is a bio article about an artist. the artist stubs are the correct stub when it is an artist, not "art history". I removed the "art history stub" because that section does no cover all the artists in history, rather it covers periods of art. Design I think is for designed things, not for designers... isn't it? I sometimes make mistakes butin this case I think we've got it categorized correctly with 3 stubs. Goldenrowley 06:32, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for this. I have made enquiries with some contacts about finding further references for the article, but I am not confident of success.

I note that Wikipedia pages such as Sony Magazine barely have more references than this draft.

Speedy deletion nomination of Generativity (technology)

Here is an explanation of what I was trying to do in (manually) creating this page: the situation was that Generativity contained information on two unrelated meanings of the term.

This was an unsatisfactory conflation of mismatched material. Let me stress that I did this manually and no LLMs were involved. (As far as copying is concerned, all of the content of the new page is certainly copied from the old page, and I will attempt to address that with appropriate tags).

Copying within Wikipedia

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved content from Generativity into Generativity (technology). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content (here or elsewhere), Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination.
