Dedham
[edit]You've been editing Dedham-related articles on here for just short of 2 decades, I'm in absolute awe and want to thank you for your efforts. It's unusual for even big cities like Philly, let alone the small New-England town of Dedham to have even a fraction of the coverage you've bestowed on it. I want to know your story, what inspired you to cover Dedham's history so extensively and if you have ever been to the Dedham across the pond.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon! 137.221.134.222 (talk) 12:57, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you very much but, to be fair, it's not like Philly is a real city or that anything historically important has ever happened there. I tend to edit where my interests lie and where I can make a difference. This tends to be a quiet little corner of the encyclopedia that has a lot of room for growth. That's the primary motivation. Thanks again. --Slugger O'Toole (talk) Slugger O'Toole (talk) 20:26, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
Regarding Lauren Handy
[edit]Please don't run scripts to make solely cosmetic edits, such as the script you ran for standardizing citations. Thank you. guninvalid (talk) 06:32, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- Why not? I've been using that for many years without issue. --Slugger O'Toole (talk) 13:54, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- It's against policy, and doesn't actually fix anything. See WP:COSMETICBOT. guninvalid (talk) 16:47, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
Black Lives Matter street mural (Springfield, Massachusetts)
[edit]On the off chance you are interested, I am seeking help with Black Lives Matter street mural (Springfield, Massachusetts), which was recently nominated for deletion. I have worked to expand the article as best I can based on my interpretation of sources, but I'm hoping someone local might be able to make sure the article reads correctly in terms of geography, etc. I see you are an active editor and member of WikiProject Massachusetts, so I thought I'd ask. Either way, happy editing! ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:34, 27 February 2025 (UTC)

Fisher Ames edit
[edit]Back in 2021, you edited the Fisher Ames article, adding the following text & cite and did not attend.{{sfn|Austin|1912|p=16}}. This content is throwing a sfn error & a Harv error because the sfn cite does not have a complete citation to target/link to. I do not know what book "Austin 1912" is. If you would add the complete citation to the article, then that will remove the article from Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors. Thanks - Shearonink (talk) 18:41, 22 August 2025 (UTC)
- Ahh. Nice catch. Fortunately, I remember the book and added the citation. --23:35, 22 August 2025 (UTC) Slugger O'Toole (talk) 23:35, 22 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thank yoooooou. A lot of the time I can figure out what the original editor was going for when I come across a truncated sfn cite/reference but this one was beyond my mere powers... - Shearonink (talk) 03:00, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
