Hello, I just wanted to follow up since I haven’t heard anything after my last reply. I was told that if I had access to the original account, it might be possible to request that account to be unblocked. The problem is that I don’t remember what that account name was. Could you please let me know which account is being connected to me so I can confirm? Thank you. Shadowwwboii (talk) 13:26, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, I want to clarify that I am not a sockpuppet. A few years ago, I attempted to create a Wikipedia page for Ladell Parks, but at the time there were not enough independent, reliable sources to meet notability guidelines. Recently, he released a new video game that has received coverage in multiple notable outlets. I was trying to update an existing draft to reflect these new developments and provide sources to determine if the page could now meet Wikipedia’s standards.Shadowwwboii (talk) 20:33, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

If you used another account, you shouldn't have created this one- even if it was years ago. That's exactly what sockpuppetry is. If possible, you should log in to that account and request unblocking there. 331dot (talk) 21:36, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, I believe there may be a misunderstanding. I have only ever actively used this one account for the past six years. If there was an older account from many years ago, I no longer have access to it and have not used it to edit or create anything. I am not attempting sockpuppetry — I’ve only been editing with this account. Could you please reconsider this block in light of that? Thank you.

I have some questions:

You say you have "only ever actively used this one account for the past six years". What about before six years? What about passively used other account(s)?

Then you say "If there was an older account" – what do you mean "if", do you not remember... or are you being intentionally evasive?

In your previous appeal you say "A few years ago, I attempted to create a Wikipedia page for Ladell Parks". Your only edit from "a few years ago" with this account was in June 2022, to Draft:Ladell Parks, but that draft was not created by you (by which I mean, not created by you using this account), you only added a short paragraph to it. Why do you say you "attempted to create", when you didn't? And how did you even find that draft at the time?

There are four user accounts which are suspected socks of each other, this Shadowwwboii being one of them. In addition to that, I've found at least three others which may be part of the same team.

Anything you wish to say about any of that? --DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:31, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, I would like to clarify a few points and answers your questions. First, regarding Draft:Ladell Parks: I did not originally create that draft. In 2022 I added a short paragraph to it, and when I said I “attempted to create a page” I worded it poorly. What I meant was that I tried to contribute to making a page exist, not that I opened the draft myself from scratch. I understand now how that phrasing caused confusion. Second, about accounts: I have only actively used this one account for the past six years. If there was an older account, I no longer have access to it, do not remember its details, and have not used it in any way since long before I began editing with this one. I am not attempting to evade a block, and I am not using multiple accounts to edit the same subject. Finally, regarding suspicions of a “team” of accounts: I want to confirm clearly that I am just one individual editing in good faith. I am not part of a group of sockpuppets, nor am I trying to coordinate edits through different accounts. I apologize for any confusion my earlier wording caused, and I ask that my block be reconsidered in light of this clarification. Going forward, I will only edit using this account. Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action, or you have not responded to questions raised during that time. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 22:53, 30 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
