[edit]I think your edit request will pass. However, I tried to correct one more thing and they don't allow me since I'm IP. Have you seen what they have done. They put "Easter Orthodox church" instead of "Serbian Orthodox church" next to Milutin. And the 2 references next to that clearly state "Serbian Orthodox church". From what I can see, this dates back years to RfC created by sock who was banned not long after, yet this remains in the article. 78.1.68.125 (talk) 16:11, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- I did not edit the article at that time. My goal was to improve it in accordance with the guidelines, regardless of any differing interpretations. Thanks for letting me know and take care. — Sadko (words are wind) 16:15, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- You too. Hopefully, someone will take notice in the future. Yes, I agree with your edit, but they don't allow me to participate. But even without me, I think it will pass. I asked for formal closure. I think that uninvolved editor will assess the consensus correctly here. Bye. 78.1.68.125 (talk) 16:21, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
They removed my request for formal closure [1]. Maybe you can think of requesting it, if you agree that it would be better if uninvolved editor should assess the consensus here. 78.1.68.125 (talk) 23:45, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- I’ll let the discussion unfold naturally. Best. — Sadko (words are wind) 00:14, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- Finally we have a formal closure from uninvolved editor. 83.131.247.215 (talk) 23:24, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
Removal of sourced content
[edit]Hi @Sadko:, could you review the disruptive mass removal of sourced content in Gršković's fragment of the Acts of the Apostles and Mihanović's fragment of the Acts of the Apostles? Thanks 2804:388:8091:91D2:186D:399F:AC7B:A4B (talk) 02:12, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
- I'm not an expert on this topic. You can ask for comments at other venues and WikiProjects with a neutrally (this is an important point) worded message. Thanks and best of luck. — Sadko (words are wind) 09:16, 14 October 2025 (UTC)

1992 Bosnian independence referendum
[edit]Hi
I was wondering what was your reasoning behind removing the 3 sections from the wikipedia article? I have argumnented and provide explanations for the changes I ave made on the article to make it more fair Vratiosevalter (talk) 09:15, 13 November 2025 (UTC)
- I believe you’ve confused me with someone else. Use the TP and try to talk with the editor who reverted you. — Sadko (words are wind) 10:24, 13 November 2025 (UTC)
I wanted to ask if I could share an essay over the 30 million estimate on Japans war crimes and the uncertanity I have over it.
[edit]I noticed on June 21rd, 2023 you commented on the 30 million estimate that was brought up two years ago. I wanted to ask if I could send you some of the research i've been doing regarding the uncertanities about it. If not I ask if you could provide me with a admin name that is knowledgible in world war 2 research and editting. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Japanese_war_crimes#Fatalities
Orginally the 30 million estimate was cited by Mark Felton and is mentioned via The Routledge History of Genocide from 2015 which had a chapter involving Marks research where the estimate is mentioned. In early 2024 another book mentioned this estimate named Japans Holocaust by Bryan Mark Riggs however recently i've taken a look at Riggs's work and i'm let with a alot of question marks. While I was unable to access the book Mark Felton uses I have heard that the chapter involving his research does not cite where it's from. In the case of Japans Holocaust I myself recently looked into it and the more I looked the more suspicious I become of the methods Riggs uses. I took it upon myself to write an essay recently based on my findings. While there were a few details I couldn't find I took it upon myself to focus on questions more than rebuttals.
- The fact that Japans war crimes were not heavily researched untill the 1980's several years after Mao died. People commonly talk about Douglass McArthers intereferance in the International Tribunal of the Far East, however Mao was far more interested in building political influance in Japan with the 1960's and 70's Anpo protest.
- The fact that so many documents of Japans wrongdoing were destroyed aat the end of the war as part of a cover up. Because of this measuring the death toll of other Asian dictatorships is needed to measure Japans death toll(the fact that till the 1980's Japans wrongdoing was not heavily researched which reenforces this arguement).
- The fact that many countries like China do not allow their people or researchers to measure Mao Zedongs body count which feeds the beast between countries like China and Japan as both countries at denialistic towards this history and feed off one anothers denialism.
I can send you this essay however I wanted to first ask since it's relatively long for a talk topic. If you're not interested i'd like to know if you can point to an admin who specializes in World War 2 history that could be. Undeadmerc3 (talk) 18:40, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, thanks for reaching out. My primary area of interest is Europe, and more narrowly, the Balkans. My knowledge of the Far East, aside from the possible exception of the Indochina region, is limited. I’ve read some works about the terrible events you mention, but I am far from knowledgeable on this serious topic. I also haven’t recently come across an admin active on the WWII topic whom I can wholeheartedly recommend, sorry.. — Sadko (words are wind) 18:50, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks anyway. Sorry to bother you. Undeadmerc3 (talk) 18:51, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
