Did you know

[edit]

Hi Vratiosevalter,

I read about this sad event on BBC and was going to write about it myself. You beat me to it :) and did a great job. I recommend you nominate this to WP:Did you know, this is something people should learn from and learn about. Good luck ShoBDin (talk) 08:21, 13 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Replacing articles and massive changes

[edit]

Hello. I noticed you're often making massive changes to articles in one fell swoop, sometimes replacing already well-referenced articles with your personal version, or that seems to be copied from the Bosnian wiki. I recommend you don't do that as it is bordering on disruptive editing. You are of course, welcome to make improvements to articles, but I suggest not doing wholesale changes like this if it's not needed.

If an article has citations to reliable academic sources, then it isn't an improvement to replace it with web portal references (see WP:RS). I also notice you're using the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) quite a bit as a reference, which is fine.. for articles dealing with war crimes. But we don't necessarily need the ICTY for bios of living people, organizations or events. Consider also that it is a WP:PRIMARY source. Per WP:LEAD, articles also don't need citations in the lead if it's a summary of the article. Cheers. --Griboski (talk) 21:37, 13 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
