A personal thanks, and apology
[edit]I'd like to apologize again for jumping to conclusions at Romani ite domum. I've become a bit defensive due to a long history of defending the article and its contents against editors who weren't willing to consider any other views, and it's nice to be reminded that not everyone is like that. It's ironic that some of them—if it's not mostly one person over and over—have accused me of activism, when in reality I don't have a very strong opinion on the topic, though I think I agree with the point that Halberstam makes. Still, I have to thank you for taking the time to respond thoughtfully, not angrily, and still having an open mind (and not giving up when faced with my wall of text). This kind of response restores my faith in Wikipedia! P Aculeius (talk) 03:58, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
- No problem! I understand how, given the article's history, my edit could be viewed in bad faith. Glad you were still willing to respond and discuss it. Rcfische2 (talk) 23:08, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
