Image sizes

[edit]

Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia. I wanted to share with you the policy on image sizes:

Except with very good reason, a fixed width in pixels (e.g. 17px) should not be specified, because it ignores the user's base width setting. … As a general rule, images should not be set to a larger fixed width than 220px.

Some of your recent changes included images with fixed width in pixels and have been removed. You may wish to review other previous edits you’ve made. Cheers! -- RickyCourtney (talk) 07:45, 8 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Mass moving of Samsung phone articles

[edit]

I have reverted your page move for the Galaxy S8 article. Was there a consensus reached somewhere to mass move Samsung phone articles? If so, where? If not, you may want to start a conversation somewhere to gather people's thoughts. Rockfang (talk) 09:59, 11 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I did so to ensure that the naming makes sense. Samsung S8 article is basically about series of phones under S8. I have given valid reason for my move. PresoPoint (talk) 12:52, 11 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I won't do similar thing again without discussions and have already put up the message in Samsung Galaxy S25's talk page. PresoPoint (talk) 13:11, 11 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Samsung Galaxy A26 5G

[edit]

Hello PresoPoint,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Samsung Galaxy A26 5G for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits?

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Samsung Galaxy A26 5G moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Samsung Galaxy A26 5G, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
