March 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Schneider's Bakery, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Schneider's Bakery. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Magical Golden Whip (talk) 15:21, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Magical Golden Whip:I've been editing on here for over 10 years. I fail to understand your logic that my edits weren't constructive. I literally properly cited the California Business Search the EXACT same was it's cited for Walt Disney Pictures. The correct date Schneider's Bakery was formed was August 1999, as proved without doubt by the legal state of California documents. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that trumps that information. It doesn't matter the first show the company didn't produce wasn't for another 5 years, the company was established in 1999. Where are your sources the company was established in 2003? Zero you have zero, you've cited no sources. Where as I have proven my sources. Your edits are being disruptive to the accuracy of Wikipedia. Chrisisreed (talk) 15:25, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sources do not go in the edit summary, you most properly format the source in the article. Magical Golden Whip (talk) 15:31, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Schneider's Bakery shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Magical Golden Whip (talk) 15:32, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You are being unconstructive and disruptive to wikipedia. You aren't paying attention to any of the edits you keep undoing. You say I haven't cited my source, but it is an inline citation in the very first sentence of the article. Don't threaten me with limiting my editing powers. You are 100% the issue here. @Magical Golden Whip: I have properly cited sources you are dismissing and reverting, you are providing nothing to the article, and you are failing to cite your source the company was established in 2003. Chrisisreed (talk) 15:37, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, just found the source in the article. I was wrong on this one. I was looking at the info box. Magical Golden Whip (talk) 15:49, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate you acknowledging the mistake. Could you please change it back so my citation continues to be sourced, now other people have gotten involved in the “edit war.” @Magical Golden Whip: Chrisisreed (talk) 15:53, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about List of Blair Witch characters

[edit]

Hello Chrisisreed, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, List of Blair Witch characters, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Blair Witch characters.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Conyo14}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Exoneration of witches

[edit]

As a heads up, in case you had not seen, it has been widely reported that the Maryland General Assembly is considering a witchcraft exoneration bill. There was an article about it this morning in the New York Times. I hope that our work on witch trials in Maryland, Moll Dyer, and Rebecca Fowler played a role! Thanks for uploading File:Victorious in Concert poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Warner Bros. Feature Animation Logo.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Warner Bros. Feature Animation Logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:33, 31 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, The Phantom of Manhattan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 14:33, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I didn’t add that portion to the article, I actually only moved it down the page from Development to adaptation. OneOldNewspaperFan (talk) 14:49, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate that you didn't add it initially, but when you moved it you did assume responsibility for it. You're welcome to reinsert it with a CN tag if you're so inclined, but it shouldn't be allowed to remain in the article without sourcing. DonIago (talk) 16:46, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
