Welcome to Wikipedia!

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the
button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
[edit] You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Darkest Hour (album). Do not violate WP:MULTIPLE by using two different usernames to push the same content as you did with User:Miked1992. Binksternet (talk) 15:50, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Binksternet (talk) 16:35, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
- My apoligies Binksternet, I was looking to use this username and account and delete my old one Miked1992. If you or another admin who is a Wikipedia expert could help me with this I would appreciate it thank you. Metalfan199220 (talk) 21:29, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
Minor Edit
[edit] Hi Metalfan199220! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Hot Mulligan and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. This is just a friendly reminder of what a minor edit is! Adding sources/contesting a previous revert would not be considered minor. This isn't you being in trouble or anything, just a heads up! Thanks for the help on the article otherwise! :) IzzySwag (talk) 03:59, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
- Oh sorry my bad, I just thought it was minor I will keep that in mnd for the next time, thanks. Metalfan199220 (talk) 04:16, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Moments of Clarity (EP). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 00:01, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation. Stop deciding on your own to change the musician roles away from how they are listed on the album. Binksternet (talk) 06:15, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
